COLDWATER-Village residents will be asked to vote on an additional 0.5% income tax levy at the Nov. 5 general election. This would increase the overall income tax rate from 1% to 1.5%.
If approved, the levy will generate about $1.15 million annually. Village finance director Jason Eyink said the extra revenue would be used mostly for street repairs. With recent inflation costs it is harder to complete the larger projects. [More]
Fort Recovery scores late to defeat Parkway 36-24

FORT RECOVERY - After watching a 14-point halftime lead slip away early in the third quarter, Fort Recovery responded with a 67-yard, nine-play drive to regain the momentum and the lead.
The Indians added another score and went on to post a 36-24 homecoming win over Parkway Friday night a Barrenbrugge Park. [More]

CELINA - Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was diagnosed with a concussion for the third time in his NFL career last month, leaving a game on Sept. 12 against Buffalo after running into defensive back Damar Hamlin and hitting the back of his head against the turf.
COLDWATER - The defenses for New Bremen and Coldwater put together a solid effort on Friday night.
But Coldwater was able to find enough spots to get some big plays and come away with a 24-7 win in Midwest Athletic Conference football action at Cavalier Stadium on Friday night.
