Ricky Imwalle
Ricky E. "Wally" Imwalle, 65, of Saint Marys, died suddenly on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at his residence.
He was born January 26,1959, in Saint Marys, the son of Richard and Martha (Tobens) Imwalle. He married Tori Cisco on April 25, 1987, and she survives at the residence.
He is also survived by his two children: Kerri (Aaron) Masonbrink of New Knoxville; Daniel (Vanessa) Imwalle of Lima; by his five grandchildren: Addison, Lilly and Warren Masonbrink; Jamison and Charlotte Imwalle.
He is survived by his siblings: Sonnie Bernardi of Dayton; Allen (Karen) Imwalle of Saint Marys; Cindy (Stan) Steinke of Wapakoneta; Kim Imwalle of Neptune; Holly (Mike) Kurtz of Farmersville, Ohio; Tammy Imwalle of Dayton; Scott (Jemma) Imwalle of Wallace, North Carolina; by his step-siblings: Mary (Keith) Jenkins of Vandalia; Rick (Melissa) Scherer of Vandalia; by Tori's parents, John and Ruth Cisco of Saint Marys; by a sister-in-law, Gwen Imwalle of Saint Marys; a brother-in-law, Mark (Patty) Cisco of New Bremen; by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Imwalle; his mother, Martha Imwalle Scherer; by his step-father, Richard Scherer; by his brother, Eric Imwalle.
Wally was a 1977 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. He was a lifelong farmer and had worked at Agway for many years. He had also done maintenance work for Saint Marys Township. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, he loved farming and spending as much time as possible with family and friends. Ricky had a great sense of humor and will be remembered for his friendly and fun personality.
Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday at the Wayne Street Church in Saint Marys, the Reverend Tim Benjamin, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-6 P.M. Sunday at the Wayne Street Church, where memorial gifts may be given to the charity of the donor's choice. Wally's family asks everyone who attends to please dress casually to honor Ricky.
