* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:40 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

County auditor to retire

CELINA- Mercer County Auditor Randy Grapner will retire at the end of the year, Republican Party Chairman Bob Hibner confirmed on Friday.
Following his retirement, the county commissioners will make a temporary appointment, then the county Republican central committee will make an appointment to fill the vacancy for the remainder of his term.
Grapner was first elected as a write-in candidate for the county auditor's position in 2011. His current term runs from 2022 to 2026.
