An arctic cold front will move quickly east across the region through daybreak. This will usher in a much colder airmass with temperatures quickly falling below freezing. Snow showers can be expected this morning with snow accumulations of a half inch or less possible. This will combine with the falling temperatures to produce slick spots on untreated roadways. In addition, brisk west winds will gust to 25 to 35 mph at times this morning. The morning commute will be affected by these conditions. Please allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick spots, especially on bridges an overpasses.
ST. MARYS - Following a contentious St. Marys council meeting earlier this month about the city's Marshallese residents, city councilors on Monday heard first reading of an ordinance establishing new public participation rules.
CELINA - City councilors on Monday night passed first reading of the 2025 budget that appropriates a total of $47.6 million compared to this year's roughly $46.77 million.
NEW BREMEN - School board members on Monday approved a proposal of the district's renovations to the kitchen/office, replacing the kitchen dishwasher and renovating the track and the athletic stadium.

COLDWATER - Village council members on Monday night acted on several pieces of legislation.
Councilor Mike Seitz reported on the safety committee meeting held earlier in the evening. The committee discussed and recommended changes to the existing noise ordinance.
VAN WERT - A 51-year-old Ohio City man suspected of killing two people was pronounced dead at an area hospital after being found in his home with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound on Sunday.
