* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:40 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.2 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

The county engineer's office has replaced 221 bridges and completed 49 bridge rehabilitations since 1999. Recently, engineer Jim Wiechart unveiled the new Palmer Road bridge on State Route 707, a nearly $2 million bridge replacement project that began in 2023.
