Very strong wind gusts and dry soil is leading to areas of blowing dust across the area. This is causing visibility to be reduced to one mile or less in localized area.
Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing visibility. Slow down and leave plenty of distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
As winds slowly decrease late this afternoon into the evening, blowing dust should diminish.

Theodore Dickerson
Theodore "Ted" David Dickerson, age 62 of Colorado Springs, Colorado and formerly of Celina, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the Penrose Hospital in Colorado.
He was born on December 16, 1962 to the late Richard and Betty (Kanaval) Dickerson in Toledo. He is survived by his siblings Karen (Mike) Wilhite, Terry (Laura) Dickerson of Celina, step siblings Kelly Jenkins of Celina, Jane (Scott) Boyer of Celina, Craig (Jill) Jenkins of Coldwater, half-brother Bradley Dickerson, sister-in-law Dorina Dickerson of Holland, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Kyle Dickerson, Kevin Dickerson, and step mother Betty (Tobin) Dickerson.
Ted graduated from Celina High School with the class of 1981. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps until he was honorably discharged. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Services are in the care of the Lehman Dzendzel Funeral Home.
