* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Leona Scott
Leona C. (Baumer) Scott, age 99, of Coldwater passed away at Celina Manor on Monday, February 10, 2025.
She was born October 25, 1925, 1925 in Celina to the late Frank & Regina (Zumbrink) Baumer. On November 10, 1951, she married Ivo Scott and he preceded her in death on February 25, 2019.
She is survived by his children and spouses, Patricia & Michael Prenger of Celina, Richard & Karen Scott of New Bremen, Sandra & David Wilker of New Bremen, Sharon & Richard Luebke of Coldwater, Randall & Janice Scott of Coldwater, Douglas & Darlene Scott of Maria Stein, and Diane Wenning of Coldwater; 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren with one on the way; sister-in-law, Dora Plough.
She is preceded in death by 2 great-grandchildren and siblings; Bernadina Baumer, Matilda Baumer, Joe Baumer, Rose Litmer, Mabel Cable, Adella Baumer, Edna Wagner, Robert Baumer, and in-laws; Eldon Scott, George Scott, Glen Scott, Doris Westfall.
Leona was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Montezuma and the Christian Mother's Sodality. She owned Scott's Gift Shop in Montezuma for many years. Leona was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Montezuma. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Friday and 9 to 10:00 am Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
