Jill Albers
With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Jill Renee Albers, 45, of Versailles, Ohio, who was tragically taken from us in a traffic accident on the evening of March 6, 2025.
Jill was born on August 30, 1979, in Greenville, Ohio, to Mark and Julie (Homan) Schmitmeyer. She grew up in Ansonia and was a proud 1997 graduate of Ansonia High School. Following her passion for caring for others, she pursued a career in nursing, earning her degree from Sinclair College. Her work as a nurse was more than just a job - it was a reflection of her giving heart and nurturing spirit. She found deep purpose in caring for others, always extending kindness and compassion to those in need.
She married Greg Albers the father of her daughters, above all, Jill was a devoted mother to her three beautiful daughters, Lyliah, Stella, and Amelia. They were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment she spent with them. Their happiness and well-being meant the world to her, and she took great pride in the love and guidance she gave them.
Jill found peace and happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She loved gardening and landscaping, creating beauty with her hands and watching her hard work bloom. Hiking and being outdoors brought her a sense of calm, and she never missed an opportunity to soak in nature's beauty. She also enjoyed playing cards, always ready for a friendly game filled with laughter and strategy. Her beloved dog, Diesel, was her loyal companion, bringing her joy and comfort every day.
