Lucille Lange
Lucille A."Lucy" Lange, age 77 formerly of St. Henry, died Saturday morning March 15, 2025, at Bluebird Retirement Community in London, Ohio.
She was born November 21, 1947, in Piqua to the late Thomas & Josephine (Placke) Paulus, and grew up in Russia, Ohio. On November 4, 1967, she married Henry "Dutch" Lange. Dutch & Lucy were married for 43 years until his passing on September 4, 2010.
Lucy is survived by four children and their spouses, John (Susan) Lange, Mundelein, Ill., Julie (Brian) Stucke, London, Paula (Chad) Beale, Winchester, Va., and Alan (Jacqui) Lange, Plain City; nine grandchildren, Ryan and Logan Lange, Emma and William Stucke, Ethan and Gabrielle Beale, and Allison, Sarah, and Audrey Lange, a dear friend Ken Monnin of Minster, as well as siblings and in-laws: Marie Didier of Versailles, Betty Wyen & Tom Faller of Naples, FL, Betty Lange, Vernon Lange, Virgil Lange, and Esther Lange all of St. Henry, Marjorie Schoenherr of Ft. Recovery, JoAnn Davis of Celina, Ruth & Paul Backs of Ft. Recovery, Virginia & Earl Goewert of St. Henry, Luella & Glen Klosterman of Galena, Betty & Herb Hamberg of Coldwater, Shirley & Dennis Hartke of Sidney, Dave & Pam Lange of Coldwater, Tom & Brenda Lange of St. Henry.
In addition to her husband and her parents Lucy is preceded in death by siblings and in-laws: Charles Paulus, Edna & Virgil Boeke, Merrill Wyen, Alfred (Fritz) Lange, Donald & Betty Lange, Rosemary & Leroy Bensman, Katie Lange, Regina Lange, Ed Davis, Vincent Schoenherr, as well as her father and mother-in-law, Henry and Philomena Lange.
Lucy was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church, St. Henry, and the church choir. She was hired in 1983 by Dick Denning as a Branch Office Administrator for the Edward Jones Office in Celina, where she worked for 34 years. Lucy was a talented artist with a gift for singing, drawing, and baking. She enjoyed taking long walks and spending time with her family. An avid shopper, Lucy loved discovering unique treasures and thoughtful gifts for her friends and family. Her loving presence will be missed by everyone who knew her.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, April 11, 2025, at St. Henry Catholic Church, in St. Henry. Following the funeral mass, burial will take place in St. Henry Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 10, from 3:00 to 8:00 pm and on Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 am at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry, 221 E. Main Street, St. Henry, Ohio.
