Marilyn C. Osterholt, age 81, of Vandalia, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the Miami County Hospice Unit. Marilyn was born March 21, 1944 in St. Sebastian, Ohio to the late Clem & Marie (Mueller) Bills.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Richard Osterholt; a son, Jay Osterholt; brothers, Alvin & Daniel Bills; and by her sister-in-law, Betty Bills; and by her brother-in-law, Larry Osterholt.

Marilyn was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and active with the church's "CRHP Group" which was established over 40 years ago. For many years she babysat children in her home and she worked in the office at Mercury Service.

Marilyn is survived by three children, Alan (Olivia) Osterholt, Ryan Osterholt & Amy (Matt) Miller; six grandchildren, Mark Sanders, Zachary Miller, Anthony Osterholt, Leland Osterholt, Madyson Miller & Olivia Osterholt &; two great grandchildren, Bella & River Osterholt; four siblings, Dennis (Dorothy) Bills, Edgar (Judy) Bills, Tom (Diana) Bills & Roseanne (Jim) Keller; sisters-in-law, Donna Bills, Jane (Bob) Fortkamp & Linda May; brothers-in-law, Denny (Irene) Osterholt & Jim (Judy) Osterholt; and by her extended family & many good friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 - 5:00 pm, Sunday (4/6) at Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Drive, Vandalia. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Kyle Schnippel at 10:00 am, Monday (4/7) at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 435 East National Road, Vandalia.

Following Mass family & friends are invited to a luncheon to be held in the social hall at St. John the Baptist Church, 753 S. Hyatt Street in Tipp City (please park in the south parking lot and enter through door # 4). Following lunch, the family will have committal services at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coldwater, Ohio at 2:00 pm.
