A New Knoxville firefighter checks on student Parker Jones following a mock crash scenario involving a two-vehicle accident with one fatality, multiple injuries and a drunk driver. New Knoxville High School students were reminded of the harsh realities of drunk or distracted driving during an event known as the "Prom Promise" put on by the New Knoxville Fire Department Thursday at the Neil Armstrong Airport. A number of agencies were involved in Thursday's simulation including New Knoxville police and fire departments, Auglaize County Sheriff's Office, St. Marys Fire Department, Auglaize County Coroner, Miami Valley CareFlight and Miller Funeral Home.
