Scott Kennedy
Scott Edward Kennedy, age 59, of Rio Vista, Texas passed away on May 12, 2025.
He was born June 3, 1965 to Ronald and Dianne (formerly Linn) Kennedy.
Scott was a 1982 graduate of Buckeye Central High School, New Washington, Ohio. He was self-employed as a painter since graduation.
Scott is survived by his son, Scottie Kennedy of Rio Vista, Texas, and his stepdaughter Savannah Rhodes of Cridersville, Ohio, and his beloved grandson, Scott Kennedy Jr. He is also survived by his brothers Ronald (Sondra) Kennedy, Denton, Texas, Robert (Heather) Kennedy of Celina, Ohio, and Shonn (Jennifer) Kennedy of New Knoxville, Ohio.
Scott is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews Brad (Kelsey) Sheaks, Paige (Erwin Pierre) Dorsten, Megan (Eric Nelson) Kennedy, Lauren Kennedy, Aric (Kaeli Schrolucke) Gallimore, Dakota (Jonah Resor) Kennedy, and Amber Kennedy, and his very close cousin Brett (Stacie) Ritchie.
He was preceded in death by his son, Shane, his parents, Ronald and Dianne, his stepfather, Fred Coldiron, his wife Serena Kennedy, and his aunt Kathy Rutkowski.
Scott enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, and drinking beer. He loved spending time with his grandson. He was a kind, loving soul who would give anyone the shirt off his back.
