* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Dorothy Niekamp
Dorothy Marie (Gerlach) Niekamp, age 98, died, Friday, May 16, 2025 at her home.
She was born November 18, 1926 in Carthagena to the late William & Philomena (Clune) Gerlach. On May 12, 1948 she married Mark Niekamp in Carthagena and he preceded her in death on January 11, 2009.
Surviving are four children: Ron (Janet) Niekamp of Celina, Jane (Lavern) Weitzel of Ft. Recovery, Charles (Karen) Niekamp of Celina, and Virginia (David) Axe of Celina; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 2 step great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and 2 step great-great grandchildren; in-laws Luella Rindler, Dorothy Schmitt, and Edna (Roger) Lochtefeld. She is preceded in death by a grandchild; son-in-law Mark Uhlenhake; siblings and in-laws, Pauline (Leroy) Klosterman, Clarence (Pauline) Gerlach, Harold Edgar Gerlach, Victor (Betty) Gerlach, Ruth (Paul) Niekamp, Robert (Elsie) Gerlach, James (Rose) Gerlach, Harold Gerlach, Rose (Othmer) Kramer, Clete (Hilda) Niekamp, Tom Niekamp, and Ralph Schmitt.
She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and the Christian Mothers sodality of the church. Dorothy enjoyed baking, reading and doing word searches.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Montezuma with burial following at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater on Tuesday, May 20, from 4-7 PM and Wednesday from 9:00-9:45 AM.
In lieu of flower and gifts memorial contributions may be made to Grand Lake Hospice.
