Linda Davis
Linda Kay (Williams) Davis went home to the Lord on June 13, 2025, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, after a brief illness, surrounded by her family.
Linda was born May 1st, 1947 in Celina, to Clarence and Irene (Mihm) Williams, who both preceded her in death.
A 1965 graduate of Parkway High School, Linda later attended the Ohio State School of Cosmetology. She married Roy Davis on July 2nd, 1966. Roy and Linda had planned to celebrate their 59-year wedding anniversary next month.
Linda was a hair stylist for many years in Lima and Mendon. In 1979, she began working at Aeroquip in Van Wert, then later as a waitress at Randy's Restaurant in Mendon. She provided childcare for Shelby (Barnett) Lynn for several years, earning the title, "pert near Grandma." Linda and Roy were baptized in the First Church of God in Mendon. They loved boating and fishing, and spent years traveling to Lake of the Woods in Canada for annual outings.
Linda also loved to read and spoil her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Roy Davis, daughter Tracy Davis Breeding and her husband Ron, granddaughters Taylor and Kennedy, a brother Larry (Joyce) Williams, and nephew Chris Williams.
Calling Hours will be held at the MENDON FIRST CHURCH OF GOD, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 18th, with Services to follow at the Church, beginning at 4:00. Pastor Jake Boroff will officiate.
Donations in memory of Linda may be directed to Mendon First Church of God, 102 N. Wayne St., Mendon, 45862.
