* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 10 to 20 below zero expected.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to noon EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

Sub-zero temperatures and wind chill values are expected this morning. While most locations will have values in the negative single digits, some isolated temperatures and wind chills will briefly be as low as 10 to 15 degrees below zero.

Dorothy Pohlmann
Dorothy A. Pohlmann, age 91, of Maria Stein, Ohio, died on Monday, August 25, 2025 at Briarwood Village, Coldwater, Ohio. She was born on October 5, 1933 in Maria Stein, Ohio to the late Richard & Cecilia (Wendeln) Pohlmann.
She is survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by siblings: Irene & Ray Turckes, Leo & Lois Pohlmann, Walter & Connie Pohlmann.
Dorothy was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein and St. Anne's Ladies Sodality. She was an avid golfer and proud to have golf several holes with Jack Nicholas. She was a secretary at Minster Machine for over 40 years and volunteered and The Center for Neurological Development and Maria Stein Shrine of the Holy Relics for many years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM Friday, August 29, 2025 at Precious Blood Catholic Church, Chickasaw, Ohio with burial to follow in St. John Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Everheart Hospice and Macular degeneration.
