The 126th Durbin Bean Bake, honoring the nation's veterans, returned with great success as kids and adults enjoyed over 60 competitions, excellent company and, of course, some hearty helpings of the famed bean soup. The festival was held on Labor Day in the wooded 5-acre Durbin Park on Erastus-Durbin Road west of Celina.
