* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...St. Marys River at Rockford.
* WHEN...Until Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Kelly Buening

Kelly Jeanette Buening, age 66, of Celina, passed away in the early hours of August 30th, 2025, in Spencerville.

Kelly was born in Lima, Ohio, on September 30, 1958, to William H. and Doris L. Williams. On March 20th, 1990, she married Mark Buening, who survives in Spencerville. Kelly is survived by children Michael Williams, and Jeremiah Williams (Marsha), Celina, an adopted daughter Jennifer (Chad Prine) Poling, grandchildren Braden, Brittany, Lydia, Jeremiah Jr. Williams, and Jacob Hamblin, Nathan Poling, Noah Poling, Nevin Poling, 4 great-grandchildren and in-laws Leo (Julie) Buening, Diane Buening, Dave (Kathy) Buening, Dennis (Cindy) Buening, Teresa Rhoads, Carol (Steve) Miller, and Phyllis (Jim) Rutschilling.

She is preceded in death by grandson Nicholas Poling, her parents William and Doris Williams, in-laws Urban and Rita Buening and brother-in-law Mike Rhoads.

She worked side by side with Mark at Heckler Slaughterhouse, Celina, Ohio, she was a mom and grandmother to her grandkids whom she adored, and a great friend to many.

Weber Funeral home in Delphos is handling Kellys final wishes, no visitation or services at this time.
