Kelly Brock
Kelly "Bill" Brock, 59, of Saint Marys, Ohio, died suddenly on September 2, 2025, at her residence.
She was born November 11, 1965, in Lima, the daughter of Willard and Elizabeth (Wieging) Stant. She married Eric Brock on January 13, 1986; he survives in Saint Marys.
She is also survived by her children: Andy (Brittany) Brock of Saint Marys; Jessica Brock of St. Henry, Ohio; by her siblings; Tammy Stant of Lima; Tracey Stant of Lima; Steve Stant of Delphos, Ohio; by her grandchildren Carter, Hunter, Erik, Lexi, Maycie, Brantley, Jack and Hazel; by her close friend, Mike Weaver of Saint Marys; by brother-in-law, Aaron (Amy) Brock of Saint Marys; her niece, Abby Brock; her mother-in-law, Kay Brock of Saint Marys.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and by her father-in-law, Richard Brock.
Bill attended Delphos Jefferson High School and Lima Senior High School. She earned her cosmetology license and worked as a hairdresser at Lois' Beauty Salon for a few years. She and her husband were the co-owners of Best Performance Tool and Die in Saint Marys, and she also assisted her daughter at Less Mess LLC in Saint Henry. She had grown up in the Catholic faith in Delphos, but later attended the Wayne Street Methodist Church in Saint Marys, where she taught Sunday School.
Bill was an incredible gardener and grew a huge garden plot with her friend, Mike, each year. She also liked cooking, canning the food she grew, and also taking care of all kinds of animals. She was known to care for stray cats and raccoons, and she especially loved her cat, Louie. She was also a big fan of dirt track racing.
The real love of her life was her grandchildren, whom she loved and cared for so much. She got her nickname "Bill" from her grandson, a special memory he will always cherish.
A Celebration of Bill's life will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Deacon Martin Brown, officiant.
Friends may call from 1:00-3:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to Agape Food Bank in Saint Marys.
