* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Auglaize, Champaign, Darke, Hardin, Logan, Miami and Shelby.
* WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1011 PM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Troy, Sidney, Piqua, Bellefontaine, Kenton, Ada, West Milton, Versailles, Covington, Newport, Bradford, Anna, Fort Loramie, Jackson Center, Forest, Russells Point, De Graff, Pleasant Hill, Botkins and Lakeview.

Carol Alexander
Carol Lee Alexander, 82, of St. Marys, OH died 3:43 p.m. Wednesday September 24, 2025 at The OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, OH.
She was born January 13, 1943 in Paulding, OH to Edward Lee and Thelma Rozella (Wagner) Nickerson. On February 10, 1961 in St. Marys, OH she married Dwain E. Alexander, who died February 20, 2015.
Survivors include son Steve Alexander of Vandalia, OH; son Jeffery Alexander of Van Wert, OH; son Scott Alexander of Montezuma, OH; son Christopher of St. Marys, OH; daughter Melissa Alexander of St. Marys, OH; daughter Tina Alexander of St. Marys, OH; son Brian (Lesley) Alexander of Sidney, OH; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law John "Ed" Slone, Sr. of St. Marys, OH.
Preceded in death by parents Edward and Thelma Nickerson; husband Rev. Dwain Alexander; sister Angela Slone; and beloved pet dog "Mindy."
She had worked in the dietary department at the former Valley Nursing Home and as a production employee for Classic Delight, both in St. Marys. She was a member of the former First Wesleyan Church in St. Marys.
Her favorite pastimes included visiting the Atlantic Ocean (especially, Ormond Beach, FL), traveling, being outside in the warm weather, dining out, supporting The Ohio State Buckeyes and watching westerns on television.
More than anything else, she absolutely treasured the time spent with her loving family. Carol will be truly missed and never forgotten by her children and grandchildren.
Friends are invited to visit with her family and participate in a Time of Sharing and Remembrance from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday September 28, 2025 at the Miller - Long and Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys.
