Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the Tri-State region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Mary Stueve
Mary H. Stueve, age 95, of Minster, Ohio, died on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Heritage Manor, Minster, Ohio.
She was born on March 10, 1930 in Celina, Ohio to the late Carl A. & Ann (Gerlach) Bauer. She married Marcellus "Cel" Stueve on October 10, 1953 and preceded her in death on December 19, 2006.
She is survived by children: Jane Gonsor, Walker Lake, NV, Mark & Donna Stueve, Englewood, FL, Jack & Karen Stueve, Montgomery, Ohio, Linda & Mickey Douglas, Columbus, Ohio, Nancy Stueve, Sharon & Sandy Blunt Little Elm, TX, 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sister: Jane Sheets, Xenia, Ohio, sister-in-law Jean Bauer, California.
She was preceded in death by siblings: Robert Bauer, Paul Bauer, John Bauer, Dorothy Speck. She was a member of St. Augustine Church, Minster, the Funeral Choir and sang for over 1000 funerals, former member of the Cemetery Board for 6 years, the Parish Council for 6 years, the Mission Commission for 2 years and a Eucharistic Minister. She was a former member of the mixed choir, children's song leader for 12 years, a Sunday and weekday cantor for many years and an L.D. classes teacher's aide for 3 years. She was a supervisor for the St. Augustine Young Men's Softball League for 3-4 years, volunteered for the Red Cross Bloodmobile for 50 years and a blood donor of 28 gallons. She was a Girl Scout Leader for 5 years, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Aide at Piqua rehabilitation Center for 2 years and worked as a seamstress for 58 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Friday, October 17, 2025 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, with burial to follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 4 to 7 PM and on Friday, October 17, from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM.
