Paul Heckman
Paul Heckman, 87, passed away on October 12, 2025 in Flower Mound, Texas.
Paul was born on December 19, 1937 in Osgood, Ohio to Elizabeth and Andrew Heckman. Paul has four surviving sisters and one brother. Paul married Irene Kuess on August 1, 1964 in Chickasaw, Ohio at Precious Blood Catholic Church.
Up until 1978 Paul was a dairy farmer in Ohio. At that time Paul, Irene, and 4 kids moved to Dalhart, Texas to begin irrigated corn and wheat farming. Their fifth child was born soon after moving to Texas. Paul and his sons grew the operation from relatively small to thousands of acres of grain.
Paul really enjoyed driving tractor and by the late '80s he only drove John Deere tractors. During the slow time Paul and Irene enjoyed traveling. In 2005 they sold the farm and then they could spend much more time traveling. In 2016 Paul and Irene moved to Flower Mound, Texas for specialized medical treatment close to one of the children.
Paul was preceeded in death by his wife, Irene, and youngest daughter, Joyce, and her husband, Aaron.
Paul is survived by his children and their spouses Mark and Francine Heckman, Dennis and Faith Heckman, Connie and Nick Salas, and Larry and Amy Heckman. He had nine grandchildren, Jessica and Andy Heckman, Hailey Ball, Whitney, Stephen, Valerie, and Nicholas Salas, and Paul and Sydney Heckman.
