FORT RECOVERY - The roller coaster that is Midwest Athletic Conference boys basketball had a loop-de-loop style of game on Friday at Fort Site Fieldhouse.
Marion Local had a 10-point lead at halftime, saw Fort Recovery come back to within a bucket in the waning seconds of the third quarter and a point in the fourth quarter before the Flyers took control to open their basketball season with a 53-39 win, handing the Indians their first loss of the season. ALPRs help solve crimes - but are they a privacy threat?
CELINA - City officials are still waiting to learn if they've been awarded a federal grant that would allow them to purchase and install four automated license-plate readers, or ALPRs, in Celina to bolster the police department's investigatory capabilities.
