Barbara Osterloh
Barbara Osterloh age 89, of Minster, Ohio died on Sunday, February 1, 2026 in Vancrest, St. Marys.
She was born on November 16, 1936 in Frenchtown, Ohio to the late Orville & Viola (Bruening) Bulcher. She married Ivo Osterloh on June 4, 1958 at Holy Family Church, Frenchtown, Ohio. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2018.
She is survived by children: David & Tracey Osterloh, Maria Stein, Carolyn & David Stein, Lima, Donna & Paul Pohlman, Delphos, Sandra Freer, Powell, Kevin & Rena Osterloh, Corvalis, Oregon, Lori Hagaman, Minster, 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, siblings & in-laws: Marilyn & David Pax, Celina, Rose Bulcher, Rossburg, Yolanda Osterloh, Canal Winchester, Irvin & Norma Osterloh, Arkdale, Wisconsin, Janice & Tom Weitzel, Powell, Jovita Osterloh, St. Henry.
She was preceded in death by a grandson Anton Osterloh, siblings & in-laws: Ed Bulcher, Judy & Tom Dirksen, Alma & Ed Puthoff, Rita & Norbert Eilerman, Othmar Osterloh, Jerome Osterloh, Laura Osterloh, Alberta & Jack Rethman, Linus Osterloh.
Barb was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt and St. Anne's Ladies Sodality. She was a 1954 graduate of Versailles High School. She was a 4H advisor for over 30 years, supervisor village recycling center for 17 years, was a member of the Ohio Holstein Woman's Association and wrote articles for the Ohio Holstein News, wrote for the Community Post and the Evening Leader for over 25 years. She was the 2006 Grand Marshal for the Minster Oktoberfest and had avid interest in genealogy and helped with Minster Historical Society.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, February 5, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Egypt, Ohio with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 3 to 7 PM and on Thursday, February 5 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Church and Minster Historical Society.
