Bruce Gander
Bruce Wayne Gander, 75, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on March 2, 2026. Bruce was born on September 28, 1950, in Lima, Ohio, to John Isaac and Eunice May (Koenig) Gander. He graduated from Perry High School and later joined the United States Army, where he proudly served as a combat medic during the Vietnam War.
On May 18, 1974, Bruce married the love of his life, Pam Gander. Together they later moved to Celina, where they created a home filled with devotion, shared memories, and lifelong friendships.
Bruce was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pam; his parents, John and Eunice; his brother-in-law, Tom Wohlgamuth; and his brother-in-law, James Pond. He is survived by his brother, Gene Gander (Inell); his sister, Margaret Wohlgamuth; and a large extended family of nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
Bruce worked for many years and retired from the Mercer County Health Department. After retirement, he could often be found stocking shelves at the local Menards. He enjoyed visiting local clubs and making his rounds, always ready with a smile and conversation. If "People Are Crazy" was playing on the jukebox, you could bet Bruce was in the building, singing along.
Bruce will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life for Bruce and Pam will be planned at a later date.
Cisco Funeral Homes of Celina and St. Marys are honored to care for Bruce and his family. To share condolences and memories, please visit www.ciscofuneralhome.com or the Cisco Funeral Home Facebook page.
