Beverly Dicke
Beverly S. (Dingledine) Dicke, age 76, of New Bremen, died on March 18, 2026, at 9:02 A.M. at the Otterbein Senior Lifestyles Community in St. Marys where she had resided for the last few years. She was born on June 3, 1949, in St. Marys, the daughter and only child, of the late Charles W. and Dorothy (Tester) Dingledine. On April 25, 1970, she married Kenneth A. Dicke, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter until his death on April 23, 1992.
She is survived by her loving sons, Greg (Shelley) Dicke and Jeff (Stephanie) Dicke all of New Bremen, as well as her five grandchildren: Conner (Liz Balster) Barhorst, Grant Dicke, Gavin Dicke, Joel (Hannah) Hemmelgarn, Austin Hemmelgarn; and her two great-grandchildren: Oliver and Isla who all brought her immense joy.
Beverly graduated from St. Marys Memorial High School, and was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys. She dedicated her career to serving others through working at the former Ben Franklin store in Minster and later in her role with the Auglaize County Council on Aging. She found joy in many activities, including the card club with her friends, traveling with her girlfriends, and swimming and sunbathing at the pool. She also was known for her love of shopping, particularly on QVC and the Home Shopping Network. She also loved to spend time with her family and attend her grandchildren's various activities, always cheering them on with enthusiasm. Beverly will be remembered for her warm, loving nature and her fun-loving spirit.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home in New Bremen from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon, followed by a Funeral Liturgy service beginning at 12:00 Noon with Deacon Mr. Brad Feltz officiating.
Inurnment will take place in the German Protestant Cemetery of New Bremen, with a private family committal service at a later date.
