Health board adds new member, hears fiscal report
CELINA - Health district staff welcomed a Coldwater retiree with years of waste management experience to the county board of health on Wednesday at his first meeting since his March appointment.
Parkway to upgrade preschool playground
ROCKFORD - Parkway Board of Education members heard the district is in the process of updating the preschool playground to accommodate state law.
Superintendent Laura Young reported that the district will move forward with hiring Garmann Miller at $16,000 to start the bidding process for the work.

Dayton man pleads guilty for forged check
CELINA - A 40-year-old Dayton man pleaded guilty Tuesday to theft, a fifth-degree felony, in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
He faces a year in prison and a maximum fine of $2,500.
