* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1045 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Rockford, Moulton, Mendon, Buckland, Neptune, Tama, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Kossuth and Chattanooga.

Great and gritty performances highlight this year's Daily Standard Softball Dream Team.
Parkway senior shortstop Brittyn Bruns earned this year's Position Player of the Year after leading the area in batting average and dominated at the plate.
Celina junior Lilly Gonzlaez took over the main pitching chores early in the season due to injury and helped the Bulldogs not only retain their Western Buckeye League title, but also reach the district finals, earning her Pitcher of the Year. [More]

CELINA - With just a bit of clay, a pinch of fresh air and a whole lot of creativity, about 15 kids created colorful pins this week in the Coldwater Memorial Park to celebrate the United States' upcoming 250th birthday.
CELINA - No one was injured in Thursday night's wind storm, though several commercial and residential structures, along with numerous power lines throughout Celina and portions of northern Mercer County sustained damage.
