Wayne Holleman
 Former Mercer County area resident Wayne H. Holleman, 78, of Armour, S.D., died Nov. 26, 2003, at Douglas County Memorial Hospital in Armour.
 He was born May 10, 1925, in Springfield, S.D., to Urban and Claice Monfore Holleman.
 Surviving are a son, Wayne Jr. (Linda) of Shepherdsville, Ky.; a daughter, Roxanna (Larry) Craft, Sandusky; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
 He graduated from Springfield High School in Springfield, S.D., and from the St. Louis College of Mortuary Science in St. Louis, Mo., in 1947. He owned businesses in Missouri and Ohio and served as a pilot with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
 Services are 10:30 a.m. Monday at Koehn Brothers Funeral Home in Armour. Burial will follow at Springfield Cemetery.
 Calling is 5-7 p.m. Nov. 30 at the funeral home.
 Contributions can be made to the Senior Citizens Center in Armour.

Doris Imwalle
 Doris Jean Imwalle, 71, of Newport, died Nov. 27, 2003, at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney.
 Funeral Mass is set for 10:30 a.m. Dec. 4 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, in Newport.
 Other arrangements were incomplete and are being handled by Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster. A full obituary will appear in Mondayís edition.

Simon Neuenschwander
 Simon ìSamî D. Neuenschwander, 77, of Van Wert, died at 9:05 a.m. Nov. 27, 2003, at Vancrest Nursing Home, Van Wert.
 He was born Dec. 11, 1925, in Adams County, to David P. and Katherine L. Amstutz Neuenschwander. On June 29, 1947, he married Esther R. Liechty who died in 1981. On Feb. 12, 1983, he married Doris Worthington who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Susan Kaye (David) Wulliman, Berne, Ind., Ann Marie (James) Zollinger and Denise Arlene (Dan) Duvall, all of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Jo Elaine (Eldon) Williams, Celina; three stepsons, Robert (Patricia) Worthington, Wyoming, Larry (Mary) Worthington, Conover, and Freddie (Brenda) Worthington, Springborol; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nine stepgrandchildren and seven  stepgreat-grandchildren.
 Other survivors include five brothers, Philip D., Alvin D., William D., Paul D. and Howard D., all of Berne; and three sisters, Lydia (Joel) Neuenschwander and Laura (Omer) Sprunger, all of Berne, and Maryann (Roger) Beer, Linn Grove.
 Deceased are three brothers, David, Vilas and Daniel, and a sister, Caroline.
 He formerly owned Berne Equity Meat Market and then owned and operated Rockford Locker Service for 25 years. He was a farmer and part-time groundskeeper at Utgard Farms in Van Wert. He also assisted with publication of The Photo Star in Willshire for six years.
 He was a member of First Mennonite Church in Berne and served as a volunteer during World War II.
 Services are 1:30 p.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Craig Maven and Marie Nussbaum officiating. Burial will follow at M.R.E. Cemetery, Berne.
 Calling is 2-9 p.m. Sunday and 9-11 a.m. Monday at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne, and after noon Monday at the church.
 Contributions can be made to the First Mennonite Church Kitchen Committee or Gideons International.
 
Stella Schoenlein
 Stella E. Schoenlein, 97, formerly of North Frankfort Street, Minster, died Nov. 28, 2003, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital. She had lived at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Minster the past two-and-a-half years.
 She was born May 30, 1906, in Maria Stein, to Henry and Carolina Mescher Heitkamp. On April 22, 1930, she married Urban Schoenlein, who died Nov. 29, 1992.
 She was the last surviving member of her family.
 Deceased are five brothers and two sisters.
 She was a homemaker and had worked at the Minster Canning Factory. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster.
 Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Louis Schmit officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
 Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.
 Contributions can be made to the church or to the Heritage Manor activity fund.

Dale Harter
 Dale R. Harter, 78, of Celina, died at 3:55 p.m. Nov. 26, 2003, at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
 He was born Dec. 31, 1924, in Greenville, to Ernest and Elizabeth M. Kershner Harter. On July 12, 1945, he married Betty Miesse who survives.
 Also surviving are three sons, Tim (Barb) of Celina, Steve (Linda) of Van Wert, and Ted (Becky) of Bristol, Ind.; a daughter, Sue (Dan) Steinbrunner, Celina; a sister, Millie Dunham, Union City; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
 Deceased are five brothers, Jim, Ray, Charles, Gene and Abe, and two sisters, Wilma Heppeard and Nina Chaney.
 He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys, and worked for many years as a registered umpire for boys baseball and girls softball. He was a member of  First Presbyterian Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion posts, all of Celina, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, St. Marys. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a prisoner of war.
 Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Stephen Merold officiating. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery.
 Calling is 4-8 p.m. today at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.
 Contributions can be made to the Heart Association or the Cancer Association of Mercer County.

Richard Overman
 Richard F. Overman, 84, 2074 Jefferson St., Maria Stein, died at 8:30 p.m. Nov. 26, 2003, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster.
 He was born March 23, 1919, in Maria Stein, to Louis and Rosina Rolfes Overman. On May 29, 1948, he married Alma Bernard who survives.
 Also surviving are a son, Mike (Rhonda) of Celina; four brothers, Otmar (Joan), Cyril (Betty) and Louis (Joan), all of Maria Stein, and Linus (Alma) of Dayton; three sisters, Alvina (Ben) Hemmelgarn, Minster, Dorothy (Norbert) Gerlach, St. Henry, and Marilyn (Bill) Braun, Columbus; and two grandchildren.
 A sister, Viola Dippold, is deceased.
 He retired as an electrician at Gagel Hardware in Maria Stein. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the Menís Society of the church and American Legion Post 571, all of Maria Stein. He served in the U.S. Army Corps during World War II.
 Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Kenneth Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with the American Legion conducting military rites.
 Calling is 1-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.

Kathleen Schenking
 Kathleen Schenking, 62, Buschor Road, Coldwater, was killed in a traffic accident at 1:19 p.m. Nov. 26, 2003, in Hudson, Ind.
 She was born Dec. 20, 1940, in Dayton, to Robert and Catherine Kisner Liddy. On April 14, 1964, she married Jack Schenking who survives.
 Also surviving are two sons, Mark (Kelani) of St. Anthony and Daniel of St. Marys; a daughter, Karen (Sean) Gagne, Renton, Wash.; a brother, John (Gail) Liddy of Tennessee; a sister, Marilyn (Bob) Caporal, Dayton; and four grandchildren.
 She was self-employed as a massage therapist. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and a volunteer with State of the Heart Home Health & Hospice.
 Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Ronald Wilker officiating.
 Calling is 1-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.

Margie Mason
 Margie A. Mason, 73, formerly of Springboro, died at 2:15 p.m. Nov. 24, 2003, at the Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney.
 She was born March 21, 1930, in Greenville, to Frank and Florence Fischer Amato. Her mother was a Minster native.
 Surviving are her former husband, Robert Mason, Springboro; and a son, Michael (Debbie) of Seattle, Wash.
 She formerly was office manager at Precision Industries in Springboro.
 Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, the Rev. David Hoying officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
 Calling is 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.

Robert Green
 Memorial services for former Celina resident Robert F. Green, 52, of Lutz, Fla., are 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church gym in Celina.
 He died of a sudden heart attack Nov. 15, 2003, in Tampa, Fla.

Robert Green
 Memorial services for former Celina resident Robert F. Green, 52, of Lutz, Fla., are 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2003, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church gym in Celina.
 He died of a sudden heart attack Nov. 15, 2003, in Tampa, Fla.
 Calling is 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the school gym.

Caroline OíBrien
 Caroline OíBrien, 91, 503 N. Augustus St., St. Marys, died at 3:05 p.m. Nov. 23, 2003, at St. Marys Living Center.
 She was born March 9, 1912, in Chicago, Ill., to Peter and Mary Counti Pisani.
 Surviving are a sister, Marie Fowler, Celina, and numerous nephews and nieces.
 Deceased are a brother, Louis Pisani, and three sisters, Elsie Fowler, Rise Fischer and Virginia Pisani.
 She had been employed for many years as a waitress in the Chicago area. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys.
 Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. David Heinl officiating. Burial will be Dec. 1 at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Hillside, Ill.
 Calling is 6-8 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.

Genevieve Rohr
 Genevieve Rohr, 95, a resident of Celina Manor Nursing Home and a former St. Marys resident, died Nov. 22, 2003, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
 She was born Feb. 1, 1908, in St. Marys, to John and Carrie Havenar Makley. In 1925, she married Harold Minkner who died in 1930. In 1934, she married Elmer Rohr who died in 1961.
 Surviving are a son, James of Chickasaw; a daughter, Margaret Reineke, Bellevue, Fla.; a sister, Margaret Makley, Monterey Park, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-grandchildren.
 Deceased are two sons, Marvin and Paul Minkner; two daughters, Mary Jane Rohr and Mary Ann Bost; two sisters, Bea Rutledge and Henrietta Sweigart.
 She retired as a cook from the former St. Marys Nursing Home. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys.
 Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. David Heinl officiating. Burial will be at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
 Calling is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Esther Scheer
 Esther Rose Scheer, 77, 644 N. Walnut St., Celina, formerly of New Bremen and Anna, died Nov. 24, 2003, at her sisterís home in New Carlisle.
 She was born Nov. 16, 1926, to George and Bertha Platfoot. On Nov. 29, 1947, she married Robert R. Scheer who died in 2001.
 Surviving are a son, Randy (Cheri) of New Bremen; three daughters, Nancy of Coldwater, Vicki Schaffer, Celina, and Toni Stone, McGuffey; two brothers, Norbert Platfoot, Sidney, and Norman Platfoot, Anna; three sisters, Irene Heeter, New Carlisle, Sally Ware, Lakeview, and Lucille Scheer, Minster; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
 Deceased are four brothers, Raymond, Herbert, Robert and Orville Platfoot; and four sisters, Isabelle and Mary Platfoot, Agnus Cloppert and Jeanette Billing.
 She was retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, both of St. Marys.
 A private memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at 9127 Bellefountaine Road, New Carlisle.
 There are no calling hours as her body was donated to science.

Harold Budde
 Harold J. Budde, 79, 6781 Lake Acres Drive, Celina, died at 4:32 p.m. Nov. 22, 2003, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
 He was born Aug. 20, 1924, in Maria Stein, to Lawrence and Mary Eyink Budde. On Jan. 28, 1950, he married Norma J. Norris who survives.
 Also surviving are two sons, David A. (Linda) of Englewood and Marc E. (Linda) of Celina; three sisters, Marian (Deacon Carl) Franzer, Maria Stein, Wilma (Todd) Monnier, Russia, and Mildred (Cy) Buehler, Santa Maria, Calif.; a stepsister, Mary Catherine Wolters, Mesa, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Lucy Budde, Cincinnati; and five grandchildren.
 A son, Douglas Lee, and a brother, Elmer, are deceased.
 He had been a Mercer County Sheriffís deputy and retired from Mersman Furniture in 1987. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and served with the U.S. Army in Italy and North Africa during World War II.
 Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
 Calling is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina.

Phil Buschor
 Phil Buschor Jr., 65, 917 Ivy Lane, Celina, died at 9:05 p.m. Nov. 21, 2003, at his residence.
 He was born Aug. 26, 1938, in Ohio City, to Phil J. and Margaret Evelyn Wright Buschor. On Nov. 28, 1959, he married E. Ann Feister and she survives.
 Also surviving are two sons, Jeff (Cindy) of Celina and Mark (Margaret) of Solon; and five grandchildren.
 He had been a supervisor at Ford Motor Co. in Lima, where he worked for 35 years. He was a member of St. Johnís Lutheran Church,
Celina, the Mercer County Sportsmen Society and a past trustee of the Mercer County Sportsman Association.
 Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.

Hugh Dull
 Hugh F. Dull, 86, 225 E. Fulton St., Celina, died at 12:22 a.m. Nov. 23, 2003, at his residence.
 He was born Feb. 9, 1917, in Van Wert County, to Herbert Oscar and Mary Luticia Bolenbaugh Dull. On Aug. 3, 1940, he married Opal Shaffer who survives.
 Also surviving are two sons, Monte J. (Rebecca) of Roanoke, Ind., and Thomas (Peggy) of Celina; five daughters, Deanna (Larry) Riesen, Fort Wayne, Ind., Judy (Michael) Mersman, Teressa (George) Kerns and Gena Lewis, all of Celina, and Sonya (Mark) Davis, Fort Myers, Fla.; a sister, Joan (Don) Knerr, Payne; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
 Deceased are three brothers, Forest Hubert, Wilson J. and Robert Lloyd, and four sisters, Mary B. McNeal, Martha Elizabeth Ricketts, Mildred May Mayers and Agnes Moring.
 He worked in the engineering department at Avco New Idea in Coldwater for 30 years. A 1934 graduate of Ohio City-Liberty High School, he served with the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II. He attended St. Paulís United Methodist Church, Celina.
 Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Kathleen Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City.
 Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Larry Fetters
 Larry W. Fetters, 62, 116 Home Ave., Celina, died at 3:30 a.m. Nov. 21, 2003, at Lima Memorial Hospital. Death was due to natural causes.
 He was born Nov. 9, 1941, in Celina, to John D. and Donna Delores Martz Fetters. On Nov. 26, 1965, he married Marjorie A. Drake. His mother, his stepmother Helen Fetters and his wife all survive in Celina.
 Other survivors are two daughters, Tess D. (Gary) Glass, Celina, and  Debora J. (Stephen) Shaffer, Lima; two sisters, Delores Elaine Boone, Dickson, Tenn., and Diane and Walt Abels, Florida; two stepsisters, Susie (Jack) Severns, Mendon, and Shirley Orr of Florida; two grandchildren, four stepgrandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
 Deceased is a brother, John Keith.
 He was appointed a patrolman with the Celina Police Department April 6, 1968, and named assistant chief Jan. 13, 1979. He retired from the department Oct. 30, 1993, after 30 years of service. A 1959 graduate of Celina High School, he was a member of the Mercer County Sportsman Club and Celina First Church of God.
 Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Revs. Bruce Strine and Richard VanHorn officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.
 Calling is 2-8 p.m. today at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Betty Koesters
 Betty J. Koesters, 68, of Wapakoneta, died Nov. 20, 2003, at her residence.
 She was born Dec. 17, 1934, in Winchester, Ind., to Jordean and Irene Denny Benoot. She was married to Oran Elmer Hight and later to Frank J. Koesters, both of whom are deceased.
 Surviving are a daughter, Dianna (Fred) Gilroy, Wapakoneta; a grandson and a great-grandson.
 Two brothers, Andrew and John Benoot, and a sister, Jenny Moore, are deceased.
 She retired in 1989 as a test board operator from United Telephone Co., where she had worked 22 years. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Fryburg, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 691, Wapakoneta.
 There are no services.
 Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta, had charge of arrangements.

Caroline OíBrien
 Caroline OíBrien, 91, 503 N. Augustus St., St. Marys, died at 3:05 p.m. Nov. 23, 2003, at St. Marys Living Center.

John Provci
 John Provci, 89, of Rockford, died at 7:10 a.m. Nov. 23, 2003, at The Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.
 He was born May 16, 1914, in Mercer County, to Samuel and Helen Sabados Provci. On Jan. 20, 1940, he married Libby Havlicek who died April 23, 2002.
 Surviving are a son, Johnny J. of Celina; two daughters, Carol E. (Stephen) Cico, Celina, and Mary Anna (Ronald) Weitz, Albuquerque, N.M.; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a stepgreat-grandchild.
 Deceased are an infant son, four brothers, Mike, Jim, Nick and Joe; and a sister, Mary Avery.
 He retired in 1976 from Lima Locomotive/Clark Equipment where he had worked 34 years as a welder. He also was a farmer, the last charter member of St. Teresaís Catholic Church in Rockford and the oldest member of the Ohio Landing Ship Tank Association. He also was a member of Rockford American Legion Post 508 and U.S. LST Association.
 Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Brenberger officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
 Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford. A prayer service will be held there at 7:30 p.m.

Genevieve Rohr
 Genevieve Rohr, 95, a resident of Celina Manor Nursing Home and a former St. Marys resident, died Nov. 22, 2003, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.

Paul Schimpf
 Paul F. Schimpf Jr., 76, of Lima, died at 5:55 a.m. Nov. 23, 2003, at Roselawn Manor Nursing Home in Lima.
 He was born March 13, 1927, in Lima, to Paul F. and Romaine M. Eilerman Schimpf. On Nov. 8, 1952, he married Dolores M. Ohr who died March 1, 2002.
 Surviving are two sons, Thomas F. (Terry) of North Richland Hills, Texas, and David R. of Irving, Texas; four daughters, Paula C. (Rob) Richardson, Spencerville, Gail E. (William) Lewis, Westerville, Barbara R. (Robert) Gupton, McKinney, Texas, and Christina M., of Hilliard; two brothers, James L. (Joan) and Carl E. (Betty), both of Lima; three sisters, Mary Lou (Thomas) Brennan, Massilon, and Betty Kay (William) Davisson and Janet M., all of Lima; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Schimpf and Blanche Hummel, also of Lima; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
 Three brothers, William, Donald and David, are deceased.
 He retired as a meat cutter for A to Z Meats in Bluffton in 2002. He also worked as meat manager at A & P Grocery for 33 years. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church where he was an usher and coached CYO basketball for 15 years, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks #54 and Knights of Columbus Council 2661, all of Lima. A 1954 graduate of St. Gerard High School, he was a former member of St. Rose Catholic School Association.
 Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Christopher Vasko officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
 Calling is 6-8 p.m. today and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Shawnee Chapel, Lima.

Ned Siemer
 Ned Siemer, 64, 124 Crowder Drive, St. Marys, died at 12:42 p.m. Nov. 23, 2003, at his residence. Death was due to natural causes.
 He was born June 20, 1939, in Auglaize County, to Anna Siemer. On Sept. 12, 1964, he married Darlene Burnett who survives.
 Also surviving are a son, Timothy (Jammie) of St. Marys; a daughter, Melissa (Mike) Koeper, St. Marys; and seven grandchildren.
 He retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys, after 35 years of service. He served as an auxiliary firefighter for the City of St. Marys Fire Department for 27 years. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9289, St. Marys, and the postís clown unit for 25 years. A 1957 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School, he formerly served as vice president and president of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 767, St. Marys.
 Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Patricia Minnick officiating. Burial will be at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
 Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Martha Rohrbach
 Martha Rohrbach, 85, formerly of Dayton, died Nov. 21, 2003, at St. Marys Living Center.
 She was born April 12, 1918, in Auglaize County, to David and Helma Schmidt Rohrbach.
 Survivors are two sisters, Gertrude Tinnerman and Vera Baumgardner, both of St. Marys; three sisters-in-law, Victoria of St. Marys, Retha of Marblehead, Evelyn of Boulder, Colo., and nieces and nephews.
 Deceased are four brothers, Walter, Leroy, Virgil, and David Jr., and a sister, Olga Burkhart.
 She began her beautician career at Loisí Beauty Shop in St. Marys and spent most of her career running her salon, The Beauty Nook, in Dayton. She also was employed at OíNeys in Kettering. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in St. Marys. She was a member of the Dayton Soroptomists and a graduate of Spencerville High School.
 Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Herb Berry officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

William Henschen
 William B. Henschen, 85, 313 S. Kuhlman St., New Knoxville, died at 11:24 p.m. Nov. 20, 2003, at his winter residence in Zephyrhills, Fla.
 He was born Feb. 27, 1918, in St. Marys, to William and Agnes Henschen. On Aug. 24. 1959, he married Ruby Market, who survives.
 Other survivors are a son, Mark Gefler, Elyria; two daughters, Moira Shaw and Dorcas (Jack) Dunston, both of Seminole, Fla.; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
 Deceased is a sister, Lillian Weadock.
 She was retired as a quality control worker at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. in St. Marys. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Wapakoneta.
 Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Steven L. Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys.

Larry Fetters
 Larry W. Fetters, 62, 116 Home Ave., Celina, died at 3:30 a.m. Nov. 21, 2003, at Lima Memorial Hospital. Death was due to natural causes.
 He was born Nov. 9, 1941, in Celina, to John D. and Delores Martz Fetters. On Nov. 26, 1965, he married Marjorie A. Drake. His mother and wife both survive in Celina.
 Other survivors are two daughters, Tess D. (Gary) Glass, Celina, and Debora J. (Stephen) Shaffer, Lima; two sisters, Delores Elaine Boone, Dickson, Tenn., and Diane and Walt Abels, Florida; and two step-sisters, Susie (Jack) Severns, Mendon, and Shirley Orr, Florida.
 Deceased is a brother, John Keith.
 He retired as chief of the Celina Police Dept. in 1993 after 25 years service. He was a member of the Mercer County Sportsman Club and Celina First Church of God.
 Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Revs. Bruce Strine and Richard VanHorn officiating. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens in Celina.

Carol Stewart
 Former Celina resident Carol Rafferty Stewart, 65, Bayonet Point, Fla., died at 12:17 p.m. Nov. 16, 2003, following an eight year battle with a brain tumor.
 She was born Aug. 8, 1938, in St. Joseph, Mich., to Lee and Frances Rafferty. She married Don Stewart, who survives.
 Also surviving are three children, Jerry of Fultonville, NY, Deborah of Bayonet Point, and Christopher of Rochester, New York; and a brother, John Rafferty, of Denver, Colo.
 Deceased is a son, Scott Allan.
 She was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church, Bayonet Point, where she was a Sunday school teacher and assistant Sunday school superintendent. She also was a Girl Scout leader and a volunteer EMT at the local fire department. She was a 1956 graduate of Celina High School and a 1960 graduate of Muskingum College.
 Services were Wednesday at the church.

Lester Kinninger
 Lester H. Kinninger, 83, 17467 Gearhart Road, Sidney, died at 2:05 p.m. Nov. 21, 2003, at St. Ritaís Medical Center in Lima.
 He was born Sept. 30, 1920, in Fort Loramie, to Leo and Caroline (Watercutter) Kinninger. On May 11, 1946, he married Mildred R. Geise, and she died Sept. 12, 2002.
 Surviving are three daughters, Jane (Larry) Grogean, Russia, Kristi (Mark) Marcum and Sharon (Bill) Kerber, all of Sidney; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
 Deceased are a daughter, Donna Vonderheuval, two brothers, Andrew and Bernard; three sisters, Edna Reineke, Kate Geise and Esther Ruppert; and two grandchildren.
 He had worked at Peerless Bread factory and was a farmer.
 He was a decorated World War II veteran in the Army Air Corp., receiving the American Theatre Ribbon, the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre Ribbon with a bronze star, and a World War II Victory Medal with the 41st Photo Reconnaissance Squadron. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, Vetrans of Foreign Wars, and Holy Angels Catholic Church, all of Sidney.
 Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Earl Fernandes officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney.
 Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home in Sidney. A Knights of Columbus service at 4 p.m. and an American Legion service at 7:45 p.m. will be held Monday.

 Celina native Keith Albert Davis, 55, 103 E. Wood St., Versailles, died at 10:45 p.m. Nov. 19, 2003, at his residence. Death was due to natural causes.
 He was born July 27, 1948, in Celina, to Albert and Nihla George Davis. On Oct. 12, 1968, he married Mary Jo Paulus who survives.
 Also surviving are three sons, Jason of Dayton, Jonathan Keith (Ashley) of Savannah, Ga., and Joshua Kent of Versailles; a daughter, Jessica Jo (Jon) Pothast, Versailles; two brothers, Kent (Betty) and Richard, no town listed; and four grandchildren.
 A brother, Mark, is deceased.
 He was employed at GM Truck and Bus. He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, both of Versailles. He was a 17-year member of the Versailles Volunteer Fire Department and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

 He was born June 15, 1918, in Darke County, to Louis and Mary Farno Marchal. On June 21, 1939, he married Rozitta A. Barhorst who died June 29.
 Surviving are six sons, Kenneth of Dayton, Jerome (Doris) of Troy, Dennis (Barbara) of West Carrollton, Dale (Rose) of Englewood, Randall (Debra) of Russia, and Ronald (Tina) of Botkins; three daughters, Connie (James) Millhouse, Russia, Illean (Frank) Raterman, Sidney, and Jane (Michael) Horstman, Minster; a brother, Joseph of Russia; two sisters, Marcella Barhorst, Newport, and Mary Magdalene Weiskittle, Sidney; a brother-in-law, Raymond Holscher, Newport; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Marchal, Tipp City, and Adele Marchal, Versailles; 31 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
 Deceased are a daughter-in-law, Elaine Marchal; six brothers, two sisters and three great-grandchildren.
 A retired farmer, he drove bus for Russia Local Schools for 23 years and Fort Loramie Schools for seven years. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Fort Loramie, Knights of Columbus, Russia, Fourth Degree St. Gaspar del Buffalo Knights and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1391, both of Minster, and the Newport Sportsman Club. He formerly served on the Russia Equity Board of Directors.

 She was born Jan. 18, 1929, in Celina, to Wallace and Genevieve Steiner McGough.  On Sept. 19, 1949, she married Lester Staugler who died Aug. 3, 1989.
 Surviving are five sons, Paul (Kathy), Jack (Marcia), Bill (Roberta) and Bob (Jodi), all of Fort Recovery, and Dave (Sue) of Celina; a daughter, Mindy of Fort Recovery; three brothers, Wesley (Rosie) McGough, Hicksville, John (Sharon) McGough, Celina, and Frank (Judy) McGough, Dayton; three sisters, Jane (Herb) Tobias, Brookville, Kathy (Bob) Rutledge, Rockford, and Jeanette Ballou, Celina; a sister-in-law, Cindy McGough, Fort Recovery; and 14 grandchildren.

 Laveda B. Baucher, 95, formerly of 313 E. Livingston St., Celina, died at 9:58 a.m. Nov. 19, 2003, at The Gardens at Celina.
 She was born Jan. 13, 1908, in Mercer County, to John and Nettie Smith Now. On Nov. 7, 1929, she married Arlie Baucher who died Aug. 23, 1968.
 Surviving are four daughters, Marjorie Canary and Doris (Gail) Grunden, all of Celina, Beatrice (Robert) Linn, Rockford, and Lois (Howard) Snyder, Perrysburg; three sisters, Margaret Weitz, Xenia, Loretta Fast and Mabel Koontz, both of Celina; 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, eight stepgreat-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
 Deceased are a son-in-law, Darlene Canary; a brother, Herbert Now; a sister, Beulah Bradford; and a granddaughter.
 She had been a cook at Camp Otyokwah and a 4-H adviser for many years. She was a member of Pleasant View Church of God, Hopewell Grange and the Sunshine Singers.

 Mark C. Brackman, 43, 677 Burrville Road, Fort Recovery, died at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 19, 2003, at his residence following an extended illness.
 He was born Nov. 30, 1959, in Celina, to Zeno and Julianna Reier Brackman. On Aug. 3, 1985, he married Doris Berning who survives.
 Also surviving are three sons, Gregory, Daniel and Eric, and a daughter, Michelle, all at home; six brothers, Charles (Mary) of Wapakoneta, Joe and Paul, both of St. Joe, Luke (Luella) of Coldwater, Eugene (Joyce) of Maria Stein, and Albert (Linda) of Philothea; three sisters, Virginia (Lester) Meyer, Coldwater, Rosemary (Carl) Stachler, St. Wendelin, and Rita (Vaughn) Wakefield, Versailles; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bernard and Irene Berning, Versailles; and a brother-in-law, Steve Borges, Minster.
 A sister, Mary Borges, is deceased.
 He was a truck driver for Fort Recovery Equity and a farmer. A 1978 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, he was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, Knights of Columbus Council 3324 and the Progressive Sportsman Club, both of Fort Recovery.

Everett Dicus Jr.
 Everett W. Dicus Jr., 67, 729 Indiana Ave., St. Marys, died at 9:47 a.m. Nov. 19, 2003, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
 He was born Feb. 1, 1936, in Lima, to Everett W. Sr. and Harriet Sherer Dicus. On Nov. 6, 1954, he married Arlene Wierwille who survives.
 Also surviving are three sons, Scott (Lora) of Minster, Greg (Denise) and Michael (Julie), all of St. Marys; three daughters, LeeAnn (James) Jones, Buckland, Michele (Terry) Shoffner and Jill (Dennis) Knous, all of St. Marys; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
 He owned the former Village Corner Party Shop and retired from Airport Manufacturing Corp., both of New Knoxville. He attended Living Hope Assembly of God, St. Marys, and was a 1954 graduate of Blume High School, Wapakoneta.

Deborah Evers
 Deborah S. Evers, 48, 12528 Detrick Road, Rossburg, died of cancer at 2:40 p.m. Nov. 18, 2003, at her residence.
 She was born June 20, 1955, in Greenville, to Frank and Ethel Rhotehamel Lenker. They survive in Rossburg. On Aug. 11, 1973, she married Patrick J. Evers who survives.
 Also surviving are two sons, Brian, at home, and Jason of Greenville; a sister, Toni (Sam) Custer, Versailles; and a brother-in-law, Joe Klingshirn, Rossburg.
 Deceased are a sister, Lori Klingshirn.
 She designed and made crafts for home interiors. She was a member of St. Maryís Catholic Church, where she taught Vacation Bible School, and the Rosary Altar Society, both of Greenville, and Good Sam Travel Club Chapter 28. A 1973 graduate of Ansonia High School, she was an Ohio Reads mentor at Ansonia Elementary School.

 Lane N. Leverette, infant son of Robert T. and Jacqueline N. Kremer Leverette, 306 S. Wayne St., Fort Recovery, was stillborn Nov. 19, 2003, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
 Surviving are a sister, Ramsey, at home; the grandparents, Nick and Lois Kremer and Cindy Leverette, all of Fort Recovery, and Bob Leverette, St. Henry; and the great-grandparents, Letha Frost, Scottsville, Ky., and Paul and Mary Ann Kremer, Maria Stein.

Raymond Dobmeyer
 Raymond B. Dobmeyer, 92, of Coldwater, died Nov. 18, 2003, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
 He was born June 1, 1911, in Miller City, to Michael and Emma Rechtine Dobmeyer. In 1939, he married Esther Sunderhaus who is deceased.
 Surviving are two sons, Frank (Marilyn) of Cincinnati and Paul (Ginny) of Coldwater; three daughters, Kristina (James) Savage, Columbus, Kathy (Mike) Barlow, Dayton, and Ann (John Woodruff) of Longmeadow, Mass.; a sister, Marie Rinaldo, Genoa; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
 Deceased are a son, Michael; three brothers, Arthur, Paul and the Rev. Cornelius; and a sister, Clara.
 He worked at New Idea in Coldwater, but moved to Detroit, Mich., where he was a designer making jet engines at Rolls Royce during World War II. He returned to New Idea in 1945 and worked there until 1966, when he went to Crown Controls in New Bremen until retirement.
 He attended the University of Detroit and Bowling Green State University. He taught grades 5-8 in Chickasaw from 1932 to 1942. He also was a lifelong member and former CCD teacher at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater, first Cubmaster of Coldwater Cub Scout Pack 96, one of the founding fathers of Coldwater Park and a former member of the school and park boards.
 Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.

Roscoe Singleton
 Roscoe J. Singleton, 76, of Franklin, died Nov. 17, 2003, at his residence.
 He was born Dec. 2, 1926, in Nelson, Ky., to Rufus and Grace Embry Singleton.
 Surviving with his wife of 27 years, the former Amelia Hudson, are a son, Jerry of Centerville; six daughters, Vicki (Jim) Wise, Rockledge, Fla., Pam (Ron) Rosell, Waynesville, Cindy (Kevin) Wycal, Miamisburg, Dawn (Fred) Zink, Clayton, Jill (Tom) Hull, Fort Recovery, and Kim of Centerville; a brother, Len (Tammie) of Yuba City, Calif.; a sister, Midge (Walter) Voisard, Beavercreek; 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
 He owned and operated AJ Trucking Inc. before retiring in 1999. He also worked 27 years at NCR and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3809, Middletown, and a former member of the Free & Accepted Masons, Franklin.
 Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon, the Rev. James Kinser officiating. Burial will follow at Lebanon Cemetery.

Robert Green
 Former Celina resident Robert F. Green, 52, 22908 Sonoma Lane, Lutz, Fla., died of a heart attack Nov. 16, 2003, at University Hospital in Tampa, Fla.
 He was born April 29, 1951, in Detroit, Mich., to Bruce and Dorothy Green. His mother survives in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. On Aug. 18, 1969, he married Mary Giesige who survives.
 Also surviving are three sons, Robert and John (Ambie), all of Lutz, and Derek (Amy) of Troy; a daughter, Natalie Swartz, also of Lutz; two brothers, Steve (Eileen) of Boston and Mark (Becky) of Columbus; a sister, Jennie (Joe) Buckman, Bardstown, Ky.; and seven grandchildren.
 A brother, Jeff, is deceased.
 He was head of a real estate appraisal firm in Florida. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, earning a Purple Heart and other commendations.
 Services are 7 p.m. Wednesday at Blount and Curry Funeral Home, Tampa.

Betty Jackson
 Former Rockford-area resident Betty Jo Jackson, 73, of Crystal Lake, Ill., died at 11:55 p.m. Nov. 11, 2003, at Northern Medical Center in McHenry, Ill.
 She was born Aug. 10, 1930, near Rockford, to Joseph and Opal Dietrich Rhoades. On Sept. 2, 1948, she married Robert B. Jackson who survives.
 Also surviving are a daughter, Gloria (Ted) Finger, Evans, Ga.; a sister, Doris (Don) Cordier, Celina; and a brother-in-law, Lisle Eichenauer, also of Celina.
 A sister, Dorothy Eichenauer, is deceased.
 She retired from Strelcheck Chiropractic in Crystal Lake after 20 years of service.
 Services were Nov. 14 at Querhammer-Flagg Funeral Home in Crystal Lake. The body was cremated.

William King
 Fort Recovery native William L. King, 83, of Beavercreek, died Nov. 11, 2003, at Veterans Administration Hospital in Dayton.
 He was born June 9, 1920, in Fort Recovery, to Wesley and Pearl Lundy King.
 Surviving with his wife, Jean, are two stepsons, a sister, Helen (Ed) Green, Fort Recovery; and a stepgranddaughter.
 He retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Fairborn, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
 Services were Nov. 14 at Belton Funeral Home, Fairborn. Burial followed at Byron Cemetery, with military rites by the American Legion.

Mary Louise Near
 Rockford native Mary Louise Near, 82, 5 Wellington Way, Rome, Ga., died Nov. 17, 2003, at Beverly Hills Care Center in Rome.
 She was born Sept. 2, 1921, in Rockford, to O.L. and Ocie Hedges Mallow. On Dec. 31, 1944, she married Charles A. Near who died Aug. 16, 1996.
 Surviving are a son, Jan (Sherry) of Rome; a brother-in-law, Frank (Marietta) Near, Rome; and a grandson.
 She retired as court clerk and bailiff at Floyd County Superior Court in Rome. She was a member of Lindale United Methodist Church, the Elkettes, Alpha Master Chapter and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, all of Rome.

 He was born Oct. 19, 1915, in Glynwood, to Thomas P. and Hannah Byrne Cogan. On Aug. 9, 1941, he married Julia C. Berg who died Sept. 16, 1999.
 Surviving are two sons, Pat (Mary) of St. Marys and Jim (Marge) of Columbus; two daughters, Dottie (Bill) Shultz, Botkins, and Mary (Charles) Brackman, Wapakoneta; a sister, Margaret Connaughton, Hamilton; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
 Two sisters, Cecelia and Rita, are deceased.
 He was a farmer and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Glynwood.

 Former Celina resident Robert F. Green, 52, 22908 Sonoma Lane, Lutz, Fla., died of a heart attack Nov. 16, 2003, at University Hospital in Tampa, Fla.
 He was born April 29, 1951, in Detroit, Mich., to Bruce and Dorothy Green. His mother survives in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. On Aug. 18, 1969, he married Mary Giesige who survives.
 Also surviving are three sons, Robert and John (Ambie), all of Lutz, and Derek (Amy) of Troy; two brothers, Steve (Eileen) of Boston and Mark (Becky) of Columbus; a sister, Jennie (Joe) Buckman, Bardstown, Ky.; and seven grandchildren.
 A brother, Jeff, is deceased.
 He was head of a real estate appraisal firm in Florida. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, earning a Purple Heart and other commendations.
 Services are 7 p.m. Wednesday at Blount and Curry Funeral Home, Tampa.

Andrew Vallo
 Minster native Andrew J. Vallo, 93, 16 Yale Ave., Dayton, died at 7 a.m. Nov. 12, 2003, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton.
 He was born Sept. 1, 1910, in Minster, to Clemens and Josephine Budde Vallo.
 Six brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
 He was a retired Dayton beautician and a former member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster.
 Memorial Mass is 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Louis Schmit officiating.

Michael Walker
 Michael Lynn Walker, 58, of Tipp City, died Nov. 13, 2003, at his residence. Death was due to cancer.
 He was born April 26, 1945, in Lima, to Richard and Phyllis (Wills) Walker. His mother survives in Wapakoneta.
 Surviving with his wife, the former Suzi Muether of Celina, are two sons, Ben of Troy and Sam of Tipp City; a brother, Jim of Wapakoneta; and three sisters, Cheryl (Gene) Thurman, Wapakoneta, Darla (Jim) Reed, Lima, and Jaime (Keith) Williams, Cridersville.
 He retired from Reynolds and Reynolds in Dayton after 30 years of service and partnered with Roberds Electronics teaching computer applications. He also owned and operated MBS Consultants and was management information systems manager at Repacorp Labels in Tipp City.
 He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Tipp City, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a former eucharistic minister. He was a charter member and past president of the Tipp City Optimists and a member of the Tipp City Jaycees. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He attended St. Joseph and Wapakoneta high schools and received an accounting degree from Northwestern Business School in Lima and a computer science degree from Sinclair Community College, Dayton. He also attended Wright State University.
 Funeral Mass is 2 p.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Tom Dorenbusch officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.
 Calling is 5-8 p.m. today at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, Tipp City.

 She was born Sept. 24, 1907, in Dayton, to Fred and Eva Thomas Ricker. She first married Raymond Pursell Sr. and then Louis Dietz, both of whom are deceased.
 Surviving are a son, Allen (Connie) Dietz, Celina; a daughter, Joann Smock, Covington; four stepsons, Leo, Leonard and Herman Dietz, all of St. Marys, and Lawrence Dietz, Wapakoneta; three stepdaughters, Pauline Long, Piqua, and Theresa Case and Anna Marie Steinke, both of St. Marys; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 She was a homemaker.
 Private family services are planned with burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.

 Gerald ìJerryî Weldon Huser, 87, of Corinth, Texas, died Nov. 9, 2003, at his residence.
 He was born Dec. 2, 1915, in Decatur, Ind., to Levi and Lillie Reichert Huser. His first wife, Marjorie, is deceased. On Feb. 28, 1991, he married Mildred Harn who survives.
 Also surviving are three stepsons, Kenny Bennett, St. Louis, Mo., Gary Anton, Rockdale, Texas, and Joe Anton of Ramona, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Teresa Whittle, Coppell, Texas; a brother, Don Huser, Celina; a sister, Marcella Mitchell, Albuquerque, N.M.; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
 He had been a self-employed building contractor and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Methodist Church, Linn Wood Masonic Lodge 167 in Jefferson, La., and Hella Temple, Garland, Texas.
 A memorial service was held Friday at DeBarry Funeral Chapel in Denton, Texas.

 He was a retired farmer and a Washington Township trustee for more than 20 years. He was a member and deacon at First United Church of Christ, New Knoxville, and a member of the National Rifle Association, Moulton Gun Club and other shooting organizations. He graduated from New Knoxville High School in 1935.

   He retired as a woodworker from Mersman Brothers in Celina after 27 years of service and continued to do woodworking at his home. He was a member of the North American Hunting Club.

 He was born Nov. 24, 1914, in Benton Harbor, Mich., to Henry and Helen Bellingham Schwaberow. On Nov. 22, 1947, he married Marie J. Westerbeck who died June 6, 1994.
 Surviving are a brother, Robert of St. Marys; two sisters, Margaret Truman and Lavera (Glen) Hover, both of Findlay; and a sister-in-law, Rita Westerbeck, New Bremen.
 He was part owner and operator of the former Zahnís Machine and Tool Co., now known as Chickasaw Machine and Tool Co. He was a trustee and former caretaker of Schwaberow Cemetery near New Bremen.
 He was a member of St. Peterís United Church of Christ in New Bremen, a member and past commander of New Bremen American Legion Post 241, and a member and past president of both the New Bremen Senior Citizens and Woodman of the World Camp 149. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

 She was born Nov. 18, 1948, in Greenville, to Marvin and Bernice McGahey Barger who survive in Greenville.
 Other survivors are two sons, Alan McSherry, Spring Valley, and Brett McSherry, Kettering; a daughter, Heather McSherry, Spring Valley; a brother, Douglas (Tammy) Barger, Greenville; a sister, Lugene (Steve) Copas, West Manchester; five grandchildren; and several relatives in the Mercer County area.
 She was an education director for the Southwest Ohio Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation and directed the Annual Arthritis Telethon for several years. A graduate of Greenville High School, she was a member of S.T.A.R. F.I.S.H. of Dayton.

 Former Celina resident Charlotte Beyer, 84, of Westover Retirement Community, Hamilton, died Nov. 7, 2003.
 She was born April 9, 1919, in New Haven, Ind., to Bernard and Bernadette Neizer Mack. On Aug. 23, 1940, she married Erwin Beyer who died Oct. 10, 1961.
 Other survivors are a daughter, Julia Beyer (Ronald) Liette, Cincinnati; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
 Deceased is an infant daughter, Caroline.
 She and her husband owned and operated the former Celina Roller Rink from 1950-1993, and was a member of St. John the Baptist Church Dry Ridge, Cincinnati.

 He retired from the former New Idea plant after 44 years and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, both of Coldwater. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving during the liberation of the Philipines, and a member of American Legion post 470 and Veterans of Foreign Wars (V.F.W.) post 5135, both of Coldwater.

 He was retired as former owner of Lakeside Superette, St. Marys, and had worked for Sturgeon Oil Company and as a school bus driver for St. Marys City Schools for 22 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the European and African Middle Eastern Theatres and earned three bronze stars. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars (V.F.W.) post 9289, American Legion post 323 and Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.) lodge 767, all of St. Marys.

 He was born July 25, 1931, in Portland to Ray and Hattie Hannon McLaughlin. He was raised in the Portland home of his aunt and uncle, the late Ed and Mary McLaughlin. On June 22, 1952, he married Cora May Cheeseman who survives.
 Also surviving are a son, Richard L. (Diane) of Lebanon; two daughters, Debra (Jeffrey) Zweber, Alexandria, Va.., and Heather (Scott) Jackson, Celina; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
 A grain farmer, he was the owner/operator of Cheeseman Sales and Service in Portland for many years. He was a member of Blaine United Methodist Church, Portland American Legion post 211 and the Odd Fellows Lodge. He served with the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1954.
 Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Gary Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Claycomb Cemetery, west of the church. Full military graveside rites will be performed by the American Legion.

 He was born Jan. 20, 1927, in Maria Stein, to Bernard and Catherine Buehler Ruschau. On May 29, 1954, he married Pauline Mescher who survives.

 Oglesbee was the husband of Candy Kennaw Oglesbee, a dispatcher with the Wapakoneta post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

 He worked at General Electric in Fort Wayne for 15 years and retired from farming in 1974. He attended the former Rockford High School.

 He retired from General Dynamics in Lima and trained standardbred horses full time. He was a member of Zion United Brethren in Christ Church, Willshire, the Mercer County Harness Horse Association, Ohio Harness Horsemanís Association, the U.S. Trotting Association and the Indiana Standardbred Association.

 Surviving are five stepsons, Ralph (Mary), Walter (Kathryn), Melvin (Peg) and Floyd (Joan), all of Fort Recovery, and Jack (Jean) of St. Henry; four stepdaughters, Ruth Finch, Dayton, and Betty Jean (Cy) Brockman, Margie (William) Hooker and Elsie (Roscoe) Timmerman, all of Fort Recovery; two stepdaughters-in-law, Lucille and Mercedes, both of Fort Recovery; 56 stepgrandchildren and a number of stepgreat- and stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
 Deceased are two stepsons, Bob and Lavern; two stepsons-in-law, Robert Finch and Norbert Vogel; a stepdaughter-in-law, Emerita Bergman; and three stepgrandchildren.
 She formerly worked as bookkeeper at Fort Recovery Monuments and St. Peter Neurological Center. She also served as a Mercer County Chronicle columnist. A 1932 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, she was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, the Altar Sodality and Daughters of Isabella Chapter 810, all of Fort Recovery.

 He was born April 5, 1965, in St. Marys, to Robert and Gayo Place Teeters. His mother survives in Buckland.

 Leland B. ìLeeî Young, 91, formerly of 404 W. Market St., Celina, died at 4:10 a.m. Nov. 3, 2003, at Otterbein Retirement Community, St. Marys.
 He was born March 31, 1912, in Van Wert County, to Soloman and Emma Mace Young. On March 25, 1938, he married Ruth Lura Goodnick who died Jan. 9, 2000.
 Surviving are a son, Gary (Carol) of Celina; a daughter, Joyce Toler, Celina; a sister-in-law, Leota Young, Van Wert; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
 Deceased are a son, Barry Dee; a brother, Forrest Young; two sisters, Cleo Green and Berdinia Shaw; and a granddaughter.
 He retired from Celina Financial Corporation as an insurance inspector. He later was manager of the former A & P Grocery in Celina and a Lima News carrier.
 A graduate of Union High School in Van Wert County and Fort Wayne Business College in Fort Wayne, Ind., he was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, a former officer and trustee of the Mercer County Sportsmenís Association and a member of Woodmen of the World. He formerly served as treasurer of the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Celina.
 Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Paul Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery.
 Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at W.H. Dick & Sons Funeral Home, Celina, and after 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.

Adrian Alt
 Rockford native Adrian Leon Alt, 82, 1947 Mountain Gap Road, Richburg, S.C., died Nov. 2, 2003, at Springdale Healthcare in Camden, S.C.
 He was born April 23, 1921, in Rockford, to Adam and Maude Oliver Alt.
 Surviving with his wife, Norma C., are two sons, Daniel Kevin (Patricia) and John Adrian (Rudy), all of Richburg; a daughter, Linda (Jerry) Berne, Charlotte, N.C.; a sister, Gloria Hannefeld, Continental; and seven grandchildren.
 He was a retired dairy farmer and served as commissioner of the Chester County Soil and Water Conservation District for 21 years. He was a member of Mount Dearborn United Methodist Church, Great Falls, S.C., where he had served as chairman of the board and a Sunday School teacher. A Celina High School graduate, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and received a Purple Heart.
 Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Revs. Sandra Hatchell and Carlisle Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Richburg.
 Calling is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, Great Falls.

Ovada Bollenbacher
 Ovada V. Bollenbacher, 90, 425 W. Fayette St., Celina, died at 10:01 a.m. Nov. 2, 2003, at Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
 She was born July 25, 1913, in Coldwater, to Charles and Flora Buck Andrew. On Oct. 29, 1937, she married Floyd Bollenbacher who died June 1, 1996.
 Surviving are a daughter, Jane (Larry) Ford, Rockford; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
 Deceased are a brother, Glen Andrew, and two sisters, Mildred Hamilton and Arvesta Martz.
 She retired as a cafeteria worker from the Celina City Schools and was a member of St. Paulís United Methodist Church in Celina.
 Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina. Burial will follow at Mercer Memory Gardens.

Clarence Donovan
 Clarence E. ìJackî Donovan, 83, 9139 U.S. 127, Celina, died at 11:31 p.m. Nov. 1, 2003, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
   He was born July 7, 1920, in Mercer County, to Charles Sr. and Trecia Alexander Donovan. On June 22, 1940, he married Evelyn L. Strabel who survives.
 Also surviving are two sons, James (Elaine) of Cecil and Daniel (Janet) of Mendon; five daughters, Patricia (Leon) Reynolds, Brunswick, Carol (Lester) Etzler, Willshire, Kathleen (Robert) Schwartz, Decatur, Ind., Joann (Michael) Valentine, Rockford, and Cindy (Steve) Bronson, Warrenton, Va.; three sisters, Ruth Chaney, Mendon, Marie Howell, Celina, and Mary French, Coldwater; two sisters-in-law, Elsie Heindel, Celina, and Pauline Donovan, St. Marys; 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
 Deceased are five brothers, Floyd, Ralph, Charles Jr., Paul and Dale.
 He retired as a foreman at New Idea, Coldwater, after 42 years of service and served with the U.S. Armyís 110th Mountain Division during World War II. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post, all of Celina, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5135, Coldwater.
 Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lehman Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Tom Arheit officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paulís Lutheran Cemetery, Celina.
 Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Sylvester Dues
 Sylvester ìVesî Dues, 83, Philothea Road, Coldwater, died at 3:42 p.m. Nov. 2, 2003, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
 He was born March 5, 1920, in Philothea, to John and Catherine Evers Dues. On Oct. 25, 1944, he married Wilma Lange who survives.
 Also surviving are four sons, Henry (Rose) and Sam (Cindy), all of Philothea, Marvin of Rossburg, and Nick of Placitas, N.M.; six daughters, Jane (Tom) Laux, Bernie (Ron) Gross, Lucy (Dave) Rindler and Marie (Don) Weitzel, all of St. Henry, Doris (Lavaughn) Muhlenkamp, Trinity, Ind., and Sandy Grieshop, Celina; 27 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
 Deceased are two brothers, Roman and Clarence; a sister, Mary Dillhoff; and a grandchild.
 He was a farmer and a member of St. Marys Catholic Church and the Menís Holy Name Society, both of Philothea, and the Mercer County Farm Bureau.
 Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Dorn officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Reva Herbst
 Reva A. Herbst, 88, of Wapakoneta, died Nov. 2, 2003, at her residence.
 She was born Feb. 13, 1915, in Harrod, to Frank E. and Cecile F. Rambo Tabler. On May 1, 1954, she married Roger K. Herbst who died Nov. 3, 1994.
 Surviving are a daughter, Karen (Carl) Jones, Wapakoneta; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
 A daughter, Betty Boyer, is deceased.
 She was co-owner of Koneta Cleaners.
 Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, the Rev. Samuel Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.

Lucile Pattison
 Yorkshire native Lucile Birt Pattison, 89, of Springfield, died at 2:47 p.m. Oct. 31, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center, Springfield.
 She was born Sept. 21, 1914, in Yorkshire, to Vermont and Lura Monroe Bennett. Her husbands, Orvin Ray Birt and John Pattison, are deceased.
 Surviving are five sons, Robert Dan (Judy) Birt, Marcellus, Mich., Thomas Neal (Marlene) Birt, Campbellsville, Ky., David Wayne (Vickie) Birt, Ted Orvin Birt and Lee Bernard (Sandra) Birt, all of Springfield; two daughters, Janet Ruth (Al) Foster, Enon, and Nancy Joy (Chris) Booksh, Springfield; a brother, Dwight Bennett, Mendon; two sisters, Marjorie Banks, Yorkshire, and Helen (Larry) Stemm, Springfield; 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
 A brother, Glenn Bennett, and a sister, Ruth Birt, are deceased.
 She was a member of Maiden Lane Church of God, Springfield.
 Private graveside rites will be held at Shook Cemetery near Rossburg. Memorial services are 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Randall Spence officiating.

Beulah Boshers
 Beulah Mae Boshers, 87, of Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community, St. Marys, died Oct. 31, 2003, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
 She was born April 29, 1916, in Athens, Tenn., to Jake and Charity Tennal Franks. On Sept. 24, 1938, she married Ernest Boshers, who preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 1984.
 Surviving is a son, William (Gloria) of Cincinnati; a daughter, Wilma (Stephen) Erickson, Dayton; two sisters, Ethel Manard, Xenia, and Frances Deford McClelland, Tellico Plains, Tenn.; and five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a step-great-grandson.
 She was preceded in death by three brothers, Clarence, Jesse and Archie Franks.
 She was known in the professional wrestling field as Bounciní Beulah Boshers. She gained notoriety in the 1950s as a promoter of professional wrestling on WDTN Channel 2, Dayton.
 She retired from the Canteen Corp., Dayton, after 38 years of service as a manager. She was a member of the Reed Springs Baptist Church, Sweetwater, Tenn., and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Rebekah Lodge.
 Services and burial will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 4 at the Sweetwater Valley Memorial Park Chapel in Sweetwater.
 Calling begins at 10 a.m. Nov. 4.

Esther Yahl
 Esther B. Yahl, 74, formerly of 644 E. South St., St. Marys, died at 1:58 a.m. Oct. 31, 2003, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
 She was born Feb. 25, 1929, in Sidney to Henry and Theresa Schneider Behr. On Aug. 28, 1950, she married Jerome J. Yahl, who died May 30, 1989.
 Surviving are three daughters, Barbara (Bernard) Poeppelman, McCartyville, Dorothy (Doug) Custenborder, Greenville, and Rita (Michael) Daughtery, St. Marys; three brothers, Clarence Behr, Botkins, Wilbur Behr, Fryburg, and Albert Behr, Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister, Adelma Siefring, Burkettsville; and six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
 She was preceded in death by an infant.
 She was a retired employee of Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys, and also had worked at the former Buchananís Department Store in St. Marys. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and its Altar Sodality.
 Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Leo Hoying officating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
 Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
