The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has scheduled local public hearings in Case Nos. 25-958-EL-AIR, 25-959-EL-AAM, 25-960-EL-ATA, 25-961-EL-RDR In the Matter of the Application of The Dayton Power and Light Company d/b/a AES Ohio to Establish a Three- Year Rate Plan for 2027, 2028, and 2029 Pursuant to R.C. 4909.18. In its application, as updated on November 12, 2025, AES Ohio requests to increase its base distribution revenue requirement by $169,815,452 in 2027, a base distribution revenue increase of 34.82 percent; by $41,377,134 in 2028, a base distribution revenue increase of 6.28 percent; and by $26,247,569 in 2029, a base distribution revenue increase of 3.74 percent. After its review of the application and records, the Staff of the Commission recommends an increase to the base distribution revenue requirement of $113,852,400 in 2027, a base distribution revenue increase of 22.84 percent; an increase of $28,385,208 in 2028, a base distribution revenue increase of 4.61 percent; and an increase of $22,273,086 in 2029, a base distribution revenue increase of 3.45 percent. The local hearings are scheduled for the purpose of providing an opportunity for interested members of the public to testify in these proceedings. The local hearings will be held as follows:

The City of Celina is requesting sealed bids for the following chemical:
CALCIUM HYDROXIDE SLURRY
These bids are to be in accordance with specifications on file in the office of the Safety Service Director. They will be received in the office of the Director, which is located in the City Administration Building, 225 N. Main Street, Celina, OH, 45822. Bids will be accepted until 11:00 a.m. local time, Tuesday, July 14, 2026, and at that time and place will be publicly opened. Contracts will be for a period of one (1) year from the date of Contract with option for renewal.
Each bid must be enclosed in an appropriately marked and sealed envelope and must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same. All bids shall be made on Bid Forms furnished with the Invitation to Bid and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid as a guarantee that, if a bid is accepted, the bidder will enter into a Contract. On bids for services, or where quantities are not determined, a bid security of five hundred dollars ($500.00) will be required. A Performance Bond may be required on Contracts for professional services.
On bids that are rejected, the bid security will be promptly returned to the bidder. The bid security will be returned to the successful bidders upon proper execution of the Contract.
The Safety-Service Director reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any or al bids, or to accept the bid that will serve the best interests of the City of Celina, Ohio.
