will be received by the City of Celina, Ohio, at the Office of the Safety-Service Director, Municipal Building, at 225 North Main Street, Celina, Ohio 45822 until
11:00 A.M. LOCAL TIME

and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The proposed Work consists of furnishing all labor, supervision, tools and equipment to complete the project scope as follows:
The City of Celina is improving two (2) sections of their existing 13.2kV distribution system, SR127 North and Walnut Sub Feeder. The construction at SR127N will include the installation of new poles, conductor, crossarms, insulators and miscellaneous Items of construction. The construction on the Walnut Sub Feeder will utilize the existing conductor. All material will be supplied by the City of Celina.
The contract documents and Specifications are on file at the Office of the Safety Service Director, 225 North Main Street, Celina, Ohio 45822, and at the office of the Engineer, GPD Group, 520 South Main Street, Suite 2531, Akron, Ohio 44311-1010, To obtain an official set of the documents and become a Registered Bidder you MUST contact Ashley Howerter at the engineer's office by emailing ahowerter@gpdgroup.com. Contract documents and Specifications are available in PDF format and can be sent via e-mail. A hardcopy set may be obtained by sending a non-refundable check for $40.00 to the Engineers Office, attention Ashley Howerter. Additional copies of bid documents may be purchased for $40.00 per set. You must contact the Engineer's Office to be a registered bidder. Only proposals submitted by registered bidders will be accepted.
All bids shall be signed and submitted in duplicate on the blanks, which are provided separately with the Specifications. Bids shall state the price by Item and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked:

Each bid shall contain the name of every person, firm or corporation interested in the same, and must be accompanied by either a bid guaranty bond to the satisfaction of the City, or a certified check drawn on a solvent bank, in the sum of 10% of the bid, made payable to the City of Celina, Ohio, as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured.
In lieu of a "bid bond/, a certified check, on a solvent bank, made payable to The City of Celina, in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid will also be accepted as a guarantee that If the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into.
The successful bidder will be required to post a performance payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the contract awarded.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for August 23, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the City of Celina Administration Building, Office of the Safety-Service Director, 225 North Main Street, Celina, Ohio 45822.
No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids,

MERCER COUNTY BID NOTICE
Philothea, County Road 716A, Neptune Mendon, & Chickasaw Road Reconstruction
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Mercer County Commissioners for reconstruction of Philothea, County Road 716A, Neptune Mendon, Chickasaw Roads in Mercer County.
Bids must be submitted to the Clerk of the Board of Mercer County Commissioners, located at Central Services Building, 220 West Livingston Street, Room A201, Celina, Ohio 45822.
Bids will be opened at 10:00 a.m. on August 16, 2022.
Specifications and bid forms can be obtained by contacting the Mercer County Engineer's Office, located at 4884 Mud Pike, Celina, Ohio 45822 (Phone: 419-586-7759).
Each bid package must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The bid guaranty shall be in the form of either:
1. A bond for the full amount of the bid, or
2. A certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Upon entering a contract, a performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the project will be required.
A completed bid blank (blanks) should be submitted on the project along with all other required forms.
All contractors and subcontractors shall meet all applicable state prevailing wage requirements.
Contracts will be awarded for the project on a unit price basis to the lowest and best bidder(s).
The awarding agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities when the same are to the agency's advantage.
