The Mercer County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for the Bomholt Hayes Road Tile Main Replacement & Open Ditch Cleaning Project, which includes the replacement of a tile main and the cleaning of the open ditch south of Oregon Road up to Hayes Road. The project is located in Center Township, Sections 16, 17, 20, 21 & 28, Mercer County, Ohio 0.6 mile east of the of Celina Mendon Road and 0.3 miles south Oregon Road.
Bids will be received in the office of the Mercer County Commissioners located at 220 W. Livingston Street, Rm. A201, Celina, Ohio 45822 until 10:00 a.m. (local time), October 29, 2024, at which time and place bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after 10:00 a.m. (local time) will be returned unopened.
Bids will be received on a unit price basis as outlined in the bid documents.
Bids must be signed and submitted on the separate bidding forms included in the Bidding Documents, sealed, and shall be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid amount or by a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the amount of the Bid, subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security, furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. The successful Bidder(s) will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Bid.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Mercer County Board of Commissioners will receive sealed bids for the construction of the Green Ditch, located in Center Township, Sections 17, 18, 20 and 29, Mercer County, Ohio, starting approximately 2,000 feet south of Howick Road (approximately 500 feet east of Celina Mendon Road), traveling north to the Celina Mendon Road bridge crossing, continuing north and west to the Stose Road bridge crossing until Green Ditch enters Blierdorfer Ditch. Sections of the ditch will be converted to a two-stage ditch and sections will be cleaned and maintained as a traditional ditch.
There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference on October 3, 2024 at 9:00 am at the Mercer County Agriculture Services Center conference room, located at 4978 Mud Pike Road, Celina, Ohio. This conference must be attended by any party wishing to bid on this project. If you cannot make this meeting, you must arrange a meeting with the project manager prior to the bid opening date.
