The registration deadline for the November 7, 2023, General Election is October 10. As required by law, those who plan to exercise their right to vote in the November 7, 2023, General Election must be registered to vote at least 30 days before the election. Registration forms can be obtained at the Board of Elections and are also available at authorized agencies during their regular business hours.

All Public High Schools, Libraries, the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, County Treasurer, and the Dept. of Human Services.

Qualifications to Vote in the Election
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must be 18 years of age on or before November 7, 2023.
• Must be a resident of Ohio for 30 days prior to the election.
• Must be registered to vote at least 30 days prior to the election.
• Must not have been declared incompetent for voting purposes by a Probate Court.
• Must not be currently incarcerated for a felony conviction.

Absentee Ballots by Mail
Absentee ballots by mail will be available beginning October 11, 2023. Applications to vote by mail must be in writing, addressed to the Board of Elections, and must be received no later than 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Applications will be provided to those who request one by calling our office. A separate application is necessary for each election.
Voters must bring photo identification to the polls to verify identity. Voters who do not provide photo identification will still be able to vote by casting a provisional ballot
Photo identification includes the following documents that includes the individual's name and photograph and is not expired: an Ohio driver's license, state ID card, or interim ID form issued by the Ohio BMV; a US passport or passport card; or a US military ID card, Ohio National Guard ID card, or US Department of Veterans Affairs ID card.

LEGAL NOTICE
Area Agency on Aging 3 will be holding a virtual public hearing on September 27th, 2023, at 9:30 A.M. for comment and discussion on the agency's intent to seek direct service waivers from the Ohio Department of Aging regarding Title III-C Nutrition Services Program (including Title III-C1 Congregate Meals and Title III-C2 Home Delivered Meals) and III-D Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, specific to the Older Americans Act, for calendar years 2024 and 2025, in alignment with agency bid cycle. Requested amounts are based on 2023 awards as awards for 2024-25 have yet to be released.
For 2024 and 2025, the agency intends to request a waiver for use of service dollars to fund the direct administration of Nutrition Services in the amount of $90,000. Regarding Title III-D Prevention and Health Promotion Services, the agency intends to request a waiver for use of service dollars in the amount of $27,001. Both waivers include the AAA's seven-county region. Waivers are being requested to provide for continuation of care with program determination and navigation specific to nutrition as well as direct delivery and community coordination of evidence-based programming throughout the entirety of the service region.
