An application has been filed asking to relieve the estate from administration, saying that the assets do not exceed the statutory limits. Ohio Revised Code 5715.17 mandates to advertise the Board of Revision of Mercer County has completed its work of equalization, and valuations have been revised and completed for Tax Year 2024.
The new valuation is open for inspection October 2, 2024. Final hearing will be October 15, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. in the Auditor's Office on the first floor of the Mercer County Courthouse.

DELINQUENT TAX LIST - REAL ESTATE TAXES
Section 5721.03 of the Revised Code of Ohio makes it mandatory that the real estate that has become delinquent shall be advertised in the name of the owner, together with the amount of taxes, assessments, penalties, and interest due and unpaid thereon.
These parcels shall be advertised on NOVEMBER 6, 2024, unless paid in full OR arrangements for installment payments are made by noon November 4, 2024 which is within 48 hours of the advertised date. The delinquent list can be found on our website https://auditor.mercercountyohio.gov
DELINQUENT VACANT LAND TAX LIST
This list is land on which taxes have remained unpaid for one year after being certified delinquent and they are subject to foreclosure and forfeiture proceedings as provided in the Ohio Revised Code Section 5721.14, unless the taxes, assessments, interest, and penalties due and owing on them are paid within twenty-eight (28) days after the final publication of the notice.

MANUFACTURED HOME TAXES AND PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES
Section 5719.04 of the Revised Code of Ohio makes it mandatory that the manufactured homes and personal property that have become delinquent shall be advertised in the name of the owner, together with the amount of taxes, penalties and interest due and unpaid thereon.
The parcels shall be advertised on NOVEMBER 6, 2024, unless paid in full OR arrangements for installment payments are made by noon November 4, 2024, which is within 48 hours of the advertised date.
An interest charge will accrue on accounts remaining unpaid after the last day of November unless the taxpayer enters a written understanding to pay such taxes in installments.
The books of the Treasurer of Mercer County are open for the collection of all delinquent real estate, personal property and manufactured home taxes on Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. November 11, 2024, in observance of Veterans Day, the office is closed.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that the County of Mercer will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the Mercer County Commissioners Office, Central Services Building, 220 West Livingston Street, Room A201, Celina, Ohio.
Based on both citizen input and local officials' assessment of the county's needs, the county is proposing to undertake the following Revolving Loan Fund activity:
The county intends to loan the amount of $85,000 to Nathan Giesige Enterprises LLC for the purchase of property located at 725 W. Logan St., Celina. Nathan Giesige Enterprises LLC will retain 4 FTE jobs, of which 3 will be offered to or made available to LMI persons; which meets the National Objective.
The total project cost will be $300,000 with funds coming from Revolving Loan Fund of $85,000; Equity $15,000 and Private Lender $200,000.

The county intends to loan the amount of $75,000 to NEA Hardware LLC for the purchase of the Coldwater Ace Hardware business located at 850 E. Main St, Coldwater. NEA Hardware LLC will retain 2 FTE jobs and create 1 FTE job, of which 2 will be offered to or made available to LMI persons; which meets the National Objective.
The total project cost will be $375,000 with funds coming from Revolving Loan Fund of $75,000; Equity $40,000 and Private Lenders $210,000 and $50,000 respectively.

The county intends to loan the amount of $300,000 to Grey Real Estate LLC for the purchase of property located at 4691 U.S. Rt 127, Celina. Grey Real Estate LLC will create 12 FTE jobs, of which 7 will be offered to or made available to LMI persons; which meets the National Objective.
The total project cost will be $1,180,000 with funds coming from Revolving Loan Fund of $300,000; Equity $380,000 and Private Lender $500,000.
This second public hearing is being held to give citizens an adequate opportunity to review and comment on the county's proposed applications, before the loans are approved.
