The Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Liquor Control (Division) is seeking applicants to establish and operate a new state liquor agency in Auglaize County Ohio, within a two (2) mile radius of Latitude 40.426544, Longitude -84.37872. Proximity within a two-mile radius of the identified latitude and longitude and distance away from an existing Liquor Agency will be an important selection consideration.
The agent would sell spirituous liquor from the established business location.
Applicants must have experience operating a retail business or equivalent experience and must have sufficient financial resources to establish and manage a retail business.
Applicants must provide the following minimum requirements:
• 22" depth shelving for displaying spirituous liquor.
• Computer
• Point of Sale
• Point of Sale Integrator
• Internet/Wi-Fi capability
• Valid email
• Accommodate a 53-foot semi-trailer and receive inventory by pallet jack
Additional preferred requirements:
• 750 linear feet of shelving for displaying spirituous liquor.
• 750 square feet of storage space for inventory
The successful applicant will meet established Division criteria and submit a quality business plan. The selected applicant must be able to commence sales operations on a date specified by the Division.
