NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL UNNEEDED, OBSOLETE OR UNFIT MUNICIPAL PROPERTY BY INTERNET AUCTION DURING CALENDAR YEAR 2023

Notice is hereby given that the City of Celina intends to sell unneeded, obsolete or unfit municipal personal property by internet auction during 2023.  Any auction sales shall be conducted under the authority and direction of the City of Celina Safety-Service Director. Such internet auction sales shall be conducted by way of GovDeals.com internet auction services. Bidding shall remain open for not less than 10 days, terms of payment will be collected through Gov Deals by PayPal, credit card or wire transfer, and payment in full must be received before the date of delivery to the successful bidder. The successful bidder shall be solely responsible for all acts and expenses associated with the delivery of such items so purchased.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Pursuant to Section 2981.12 (8) O.R.C., the Coldwater Police Department is making a public notice of disposal of found property. Found property includes but is not limited to: clothing, electronics, keys, purses and wallets. Anyone wishing to make a claim of ownership to property in the possession of the Coldwater Police Department is required to contact Det. Dave Dues or Ptl. Dan Speckman, 419-678-2356. Anyone wishing to make a claim of ownership for found property must provide an adequate description and approximate date of when the property was lost. Any found property in the possession of the Coldwater Police Department for more than 90 days and unclaimed after 04/08/2023 shall be considered forfeit and disposed of as permitted by law.
