The Franklin Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing to consider the application for a variance Request on the 16th day of May, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at the Franklin Township House, 6805 St. Rt. 219, Celina. The application, submitted by Bryan Niemeyer, requests a Variance in the set-back requirements for the property located at 5165 S. Lake Ct., Celina, OH 45822.
As per Section 1127:34 of the Zoning Code, a minimum of 30' is required for the front yard set-back of the property. The applicants are requesting a Variance of 6' to bring the existing structure in Compliance with this Zoning Regulation.

Text Amendment to Mercer County Zoning Code Resolution
The Board of Mercer County Commissioners will hold a public hearing on May 3, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the First Floor Conference Room of the Central Services Building, located at 220 W. Livingston Street, Celina, Ohio. The Commissioners will conduct a hearing on proposed text amendments to the Mercer County Zoning Code.
In general, the proposed text amendment will create definitions and provide criteria for conditional use application for a short-term rental in R-2 and R-3 zones.
The full text amendments as proposed by the County Zoning Commission were made available for public examination at the office of the Mercer County Commissioners in the Central Services Building, Room A201, 220 W. Livingston Street, Celina, Ohio on March 22, 2022. Said text amendments will continue to be available during normal business hours until the date of the hearing. Those unable to attend the hearing may submit written comments to the Commissioners, mailed or delivered to the County Commissioners office in advance of the hearing.
