Orville Pence
Orville Pence, 94, 8277 Maier-Barber Road, St. Marys, died at 3 a.m. July 1, 2006, at the Saint Marys Living Center.
He was born Nov. 14, 1911. On Nov. 14, 1931, he married Edith Snyder, who died July 21, 2004.
Survivors are a son, Bill (Carroll) Pence, St. Marys; two daughters, Imogene (Kermit) Miller, Wapakoneta, and Kathleen Gunston, Wyvale, Canada; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and three step-great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Sylvester, Boyd and Cloyd; a sister, Mabel Russell; and a brother-in-law, Edward Russell.
He was retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., St. Marys. He also was a farmer and a licensed pilot. He was a member of Faith Alliance Church, New Bremen.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Dean Greenwood officiating. Burial is at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Calling is after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
