Walter McElroy and his wife, Patsy, share a quiet moment at their New Bremen-area home. The 72-year-old man recently pulled his wife from their burning car while returning from a shopping trip. Afflicted with Alzheimer's disease, she did not realize flames and smoke posed a danger.
