Down it comes

Demolition continues at the site of the old Schaffer house along North Main Street in Minster. The home, believed to have been the site of an early tavern, is one of the last remaining examples in the village of fachwerke, an early German style of construction. Botkins area resident Dave Hemmert wraps a strap around one of the hand-hewn timbers before it is lifted from the structure by crane. Hemmert plans to reuse the timbers at some point in the future.
