Dakota Knous, 10, at left, and Tyler Core, 11, both of St. Marys, gulp a healthy share of water at fountains on the Auglaize County Fairgrounds in Wapakoneta on Tuesday. Temperatures climbed to an uncomfortable 91 degrees by mid-afternoon Tuesday and are expected to reach 93 today, continuing the hot and humid heat wave that has gripped the Midwest. Relief is on its way Thursday with a high of 85 and rain, according to local forecaster Dennis Howick.
