This property at 516 N. Sugar St. in Celina is one of two being targeted by Celina Police for mowing and cleanup. Chief Dave Slusser said weekly notices will be placed in The Daily Standard pinpointing properties where weeds and grass have grown to a point of 10 inches or higher in violation of city ordinances. The owners of this property and a home at 409 E. Livingston St. have until Wednesday to cut the lawn or have the city do the work with the cost assessed to the owner.
