A crew from Rockford Construction starts the cleanup and repair of West Bank Inn this morning after a car crashed into the business about 12:33 a.m. According to police reports, a 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis careened through the porch of the inn before being struck by another car at the same location. The drivers have been identified as two construction workers from North Carolina, who are staying in the area. The pair were taken to the Mercer County Jail and have pleaded not guilty to several charges stemming from the crash.
