Clare F. Winner, 93, 2 N. Lincoln Drive, Minster, died at 2:03 p.m. Aug. 31, 2006, at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster. She was in the home one week.

She was born Dec. 14, 1912, in Fort Loramie, to Henry and Frances Hilgefort Borchers. On June 14, 1938, she married Clarence Winner, who died April 27, 2005.

Survivors are four sons, Ronald (Charyl), Indianapolis, Ind., Roger (Sarah), Vandalia, Richard (Susan) and Gregory (Theresa), all of Minster; four daughters, Jane (James) Hatfield, Glen Ellen, Ill., Judy Winner, Cincinnati, Patricia (Mike) Gavit, Minster, and Pamela (Peter) LaFalce, Lexington, Ky.; a sister-in-law, Eileen Borchers, Fort Loramie; 23 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Deceased are two brothers and 10 sisters.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, where she was a past religion teacher. She was also a member of Knights of St. John Council, Fort Loramie, and American Legion Auxiliary Post 387, Minster.

Funeral Mass is 10 a.m Monday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.

Calling is 3-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-9:30 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
