Ralph Timmerman
Ralph U. Timmerman, 74, 417 S. Second St., Coldwater, died Sept. 3, 2006, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 13, 1932, in Coldwater, to Fred and Louise Rosenbeck Timmerman. On Dec. 12, 1970, he married Naomi Jean Stevens, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Leslie Figel, Kingman, Ariz., and Thomas Figel, Braunfels, Texas; four daughters, Karen (Scott) Strete, Celina, Marcy (James) Crouch, Union City, Debora (Butch) Martin, Celina, and Jackie (Dave) Fulk, of Alabama; two brothers, Herbert (Dorothy) and Clarence, all of Coldwater, and Alvin (Rosi), Portland, Ind.; two sisters, Evelyn (Don) Kuether, Covington, and Cathy (Larry) Wendel, Wendelin; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, James Figel; two sisters, Marie Weitzel and Delores; a brother-in-law, Lawrence Weitzel; a sister-in-law, Pat; and a grandchild.
He was retired from New Idea and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles 3025, American Legion Post 470 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5135, all of Coldwater.
Services are 3 p.m. Thursday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater, the Rev. Daniel Schmitmeyer officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 2-3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
