Alice Tobin
Alice M. Tobin, 78, of Montezuma, died September 11, 2006 at her residence.
She was born April 1, 1928, in Montezuma, to Loren and Margaret Burd Cencebaugh. On December 5, 1946, she married John Tobin, who died May 30, 1996.
Survivors are a son Mark (Chris), Montezuma; two daughters: Penny (Lowell) Kissinger, Bradford, and Diane (Bob Huffman) Whitehead, Montezuma; a sister, Pam Sites, Rockford; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Bud Cencebaugh.
She was the head cook at Franklin School for 29 years. She attended Montezuma United Methodist Church and was a member of its Women's Society of Christian Service. She also was a member of the Ya Ya Sisterhood in Montezuma.
Graveside services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mercer Memory Gardens with Rev. Bruce Crane, officiating.
