Scattered snow showers will become more widespread through this afternoon and then likely linger into this evening before tapering off.
The snow showers will be capable of causing brief periods of reduced visibilities, especially this afternoon. In addition, brisk conditions will prevail with west winds gusting in the 30 to 40 mph range today.
Light snow accumulations will be possible, mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces. While roads will remain mostly wet during the daytime hours, some slick spots may develop toward sunset as temperatures begin to drop below freezing.
Please be prepared for the changing weather conditions today and the potential for reduced visibilities when driving.

A St. Marys man with a passion for operating motorized vehicles of all kinds was killed in a traffic accident Saturday afternoon north of the city.
Richard Lee "Richie" Reed, 39, 17857 state Route 66, was pronounced dead at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the emergency room at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima, less than an hour after the Auglaize County accident. [More]

LIMA - Celina volleyball coach De De Stoner didn't really have an answer why her Bulldogs had an up-and-down morning to start Division II sectional play against rival St. Marys.
After dominating the first match 25-9, Celina had to hold off St. Marys in game two to take a 25-17 win before going back to dominating ways to beat the Roughriders 25-10 in the third game to end St. Marys' season. [More]
