Marcellus Stueve
Marcellus E. "Cel" Stueve, 82, 211 S. Frankfort St., Minster, died at 1:25 p.m. Dec. 19, 2006, at Joint Township District Hospital, St. Marys, following a brief illness.
He was born Oct. 16, 1924, in Maria Stein, to Robert and Elizabeth Bergman Stueve. On Oct. 10, 1953, he married Mary H. Bauer, who survives.
Survivors are two sons, Mark (Donna), Englewood, Fla., and Jack (Karen), Minster; four daughters, Jane (Gary) Gonsor, Carmichael, Calif., Linda (Micky) Douglas, Columbus, Nancy (Dave) Howard, Derby, Kan., and Sharon (Sandy) Blount, Bismark, N.D.; a brother, Oscar (Edna), Dayton; two sisters, Betty (Lee) Voisard, Marblehead, and Doris Wannemaker, Anna; and 12 grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Norma Dahlinghaus.
He retired in 1989 from Minster Machine Company, and was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and its orphan society, Minster.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-9:30 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
