Thelma Homan
Thelma M. Homan, 72, 5160 Burrville Road, Coldwater, died Jan. 12, 2007, at Mercer County Community Hospital Emergency Room, Coldwater. Death was due to a sudden illness.
She was born Feb. 9, 1934, in Celina, to Urban and Rosena Dippold Buschur. On Oct. 13, 1956, she married Jim Homan, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Randall (Katherine), Coldwater, and Brian (Michelle), Cincinnati; three daughters, Lorie Mitter, Dayton, Pat (Eric) Grieshop, Fort Recovery, and Pam (Tim) Wellman, Coldwater; three brothers, Urban (Mary) Buschur, New Bremen, Ronald (Joan) Buschur, Celina, and Marvin (Sue) Buschur, Coldwater; a sister, Marilyn Koch, McComb; and 14 grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother-in-law, Charles Koch.
She worked at Wilson Shoes, Celina, and for over 40 years was a certified catechist and CCD teacher at St. Peter, St. Joseph and St. Henry parishes. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Coldwater, and Ladies Rosary Altar Sodality of St. Anthony Church.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Rev. Ronald Wilker officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater.
