Curling up with a good book
Photo by Shelley Grieshop/The Daily Standard

Judy Baker, a New Bremen elementary library aide, reads a story to a group of students Tuesday inside a decorated cave during National Right to Read Week. The school's theme this year is Hibernate with a Good Book, with various activities planned each day. Today is Bed Head Day, and students and staff were encouraged to forgo hair care. The school's students are challenged to read for 80,000 minutes this week to qualify for participation in a dodge ball game against the teachers on Friday.
