Virgil Bey
Virgil A. Bey, 97, 623 S. Main St., Ansonia, died at 6:40 a.m. March 1, 2007, at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville.
He was born on Jan. 31, 1910, in Brock, to Albert and Margaret George Bey. On Nov. 29, 1941, he married Emma M. Lamm, deceased.
Surviving are a son, Leon, Dayton; three daughters, Peggy (Andy) Green, Celina, Susanne (Dennis) Barga, Ansonia, and Debrah (Ken) Liette, Union City; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Thelma Paulus.
He retired from General Motors and was a farmer. He was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Greenville and a past member of Kiwanis. He was a trustee for York Township.
Funeral Mass is 11:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. John White officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville. A prayer service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
